Simply do the math.

4.5 years is 1642 days.

35% of Iraqis would be 8,750,000

8,750,000/1642 would be 5328 Iraqis killed, maimed or made a refugee EVERY day for the last 4.5 years. OBVIOUSLY that is a lie.

Reminds me of an anti-gun stat once used that said something along the lines of “Children’s deaths by firearms are expected to double every year for the foreseeable future.” Of course, anyone familiar with the “chessboard” problem realizes that if you doubled the amount every year, you would have killed the entire population of the earth in about 12 years.
