Hey, MNJ, it is only because you are assuming your base figure is accurate. If we instead assume that the entire population of Iraq was 250,000, why then the Kossack figures come out fine!

26,783,383 x .35 equals 9,374,184 - 4,200,000 imaginary refugees =5,174,184 Iraqis killed or maimed /1642 days of the war = 3,151 Iraqis killed or maimed EVERY day of the war.
