26,783,383 x .35 equals 9,374,184 - 4,200,000 imaginary refugees =5,174,184 Iraqis killed or maimed /1642 days of the war = 3,151 Iraqis killed or maimed EVERY day of the war.

Reminds me of an anti-gun stat once used that said something along the lines of “Children’s deaths by firearms are expected to double every year for the foreseeable future.” Of course, anyone familiar with the “chessboard” problem realizes that if you doubled the amount every year, you would have killed the entire population of the earth in about 12 years.
