Ahmadinejad was completely misunderstood during this statement. He said there are no "gay" people in Iran. This is true. If you define "gay" as happy and carefree there are definitely no gay people in Iran.
There are plenty of homosexuals. In fact, they are practically wall-to-wall with them. Plenty of Iranian men are dragging little boys into their tents on a daily basis. Why do you think Iranian men get onto their hands and knees, and stick their butts in the air five times a day? I mean, you go, girls!
