Sambo's in the Wilshire District of Los Angeles was one of my favorite coffee shops, with good food and excellent service. If you ordered coffee with your meal, the waitress would always come by to refill your cup before you could finish.

I believe the original Sambo's in Santa Barbara is still in business.

Beaner’s Coffee will soon announce the obtaining of liquor licensees for all their locations. Their signature drink is a wonderful mix of Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice (from the marsh waters of New Jersey) and Jose Cuervo Tequila Gold (from Mexico)

The name of the new drink will be the Wet Back.
