Here is one source of info on the term "beaner"... Urban Dictionary definition of "beaner"
taco bender... hadn’t heard that one in a while.
a couple of months back i’m grocery shopping with my family. my wife is reading off the list of things we still need to get. she reads out loud “beans.. ok... we need beans”. my 4 year old shouts “YEAH, CUZ DADDY’S A BEANER!!!”
Why? Are the neighborhoods getting taken over? `Frad they might loose a buck? The word Beaner has been around for at least 20 - 30 years that I know of, probably longer. BEANERS COFFEE was founded in East Lansing, MI in 1995 by Bob Fish and Mary Roszel. So now that they are successful and their website is, of course, beaners.com they are all of a sudden massively "culturally sensitive?"
from their website... felt the need to distance ourselves from a term that is considered a disparaging expression. Thats it, nothing more. A big part of our success up to now has been about doing the right thing when the opportunity presents itself. This is one of those opportunities, and were happy to make the change.
What a pandering load. They would not do a complete name change unless not doing it meant loosing money. Which is ok but to get all gushy and self-righteous is a load of krap.
Totally asinine! What’s next to go? Woppers? Spic ‘n’ Span? Jig Saws? It’s really a slippery SLOPE!
“Beaner’s Coffee, the third-largest retail coffee chain in the Midwest,
announced they will change the name of all 79 of their current stores
to Biggby Coffee. “
Thanks for the post.
Now I have another addition to my “Don’t Patronize These PC Morons’ Business”
list.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Quick, sombody email them a copy of Beaner's press release and see if they will change their name too!
I guess “WetBlack” is not going to fly either?
If Hooters is for big breasted women, then IHOP is for one legged waitresses.

His understanding of “coconut” and mine differ. I had always understood it to be interchangeable with ‘oreo’.
Well, you know what I mean. :-)
The musical “Grease” has to go...
Sigh. Gone are the days when we could stop off at Pepperbelly’s cafe for a snack then go to Sambo’s for some Beaner coffee. finally ending the day watching Allan Arkin in Freebe and the Bean and then Bill Dana as Hose Hemaniez complete with advertisments for the Frito Bandito.
I guess I don’t know any real Mexican haters, because this is a new one on me.
But it appears to be so. Warning: there’s a lot of vile racism in the synonymns and definitions.

Does that mean I can never wash... my back anymore?
Coffee beans! There are different kinds. A coffee officianado is a beaner. For C-—st’s sake, what kind of a nit wit runs that place? I’m sure glad our culture is safer now!
The lights are on in America, is anyone home? Is there even a single brain cell left between us?
We’re folding like a house of cards. If it isn’t the Muslims, it’s the Mexicans. If it isn’t them, it’s some other group. My town as declared the Armenian Holocaust to be a city holiday. Say what?
Honest to God, everyone wants us to be something we’re not. We’re not a nation that has it’s own culture. We’re supposed to change to whatever the latest flavor of the month is. And it’s getting to be a bit much folks.
