Sandra went home to be with the Lord this morning.
Thank you all for your prayers. I'm sure they have helped her all this time and will continue to help her before the Throne.
"I AM the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me, shall never die.
I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though this body be destroyed, yet shall I see God: whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not as a stranger."

Time is but a moment, but how we live and glorify those moments......
In all seriousness, you read that and you see that this is a blessing. To meet at last someone who has loved you achingly since before your grandparents were born, to meet at last your friend for life ...
May Sandra know ever more and more deeply the Love of God and may that same love console those who mourn.
“I know that my redeemer liveth...”
Thank you An American Mother for for your updates on Sandra.
May the God of all comfort and peace comfort you.
In Jesus’ Holy name.
Amen.
I am so sorry for your loss, and the loss all those who loved her are feeling at this time.
Being Christian, I know where she is at this moment. And, I can hear the words, “Welcome Home, Sandra!”
When I lost someone very close to me, another Christian friend sent me a book, titled, “Peace of Mind”, by Rabbi Joshua Loth Liebman.
A beautiful excerpt from this book:
*****
“I often feel that death is not the enemy of life, but its friend, for it is the knowledge that our years are limited which makes them so precious.
It is the truth that time is but lent to us, which makes us, at our best, look upon our years as a trust handed into our temporary keeping. We are like children, privileged to spend a day in a great park, a park filled with many playgrounds and azure tinted lakes with white boats sailing upon tranquil waves.
True, the day allotted to each one of us is not the same in length, in light, in beauty. Some children of earth are privileged to spend a long sunlit day in the garden of the earth.
For others, the day is shorter, cloudier, and dusk descends more quickly as in a winters tale.
But, whether our life is a long summery day or a short wintry afternoon, we know that inevitably there are storms and squalls which overcast even the bluest heaven and there are sunlit rays which pierce the darkest autumn sky. The day that we are privileged to spend in the great park of life is not the same for all human beings, but there is enough beauty and joy and gaiety in the hours if we will but treasure them.
Then, for each one of us the moment comes when the great nurse, death, takes man, the child, by the hand and quietly says, It is time to go home. Night is coming. It is your bedtime, child of earth. Come, youre tired.
Lie down at last in the quiet nursery of nature and sleep. Sleep well. The day is gone. Stars shine in the canopy of eternity.

And you are now in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Rest in Peace, Sandra.
A beautiful Child of God has entered into Eternal Joy ... may comfort surround those who rejoice, yet mourn, their beloved Sandra. Joyous reunion awaits.
prayers for the repose of her soul and for the comfort of her loved ones. God has blessed her homecoming.
May Sandra rest in peace and the peace of the Lord be with her family.
For some reason, 1 Corinthians 13:12 came to my mind when I read your post. “Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” While Sandra was on earth, she could not fully know the joy of being in the presence of her Lord and Savior, but now she knows fully what that is like! You and Sandra’s friends and family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
I join in prayer for Sandra’s family and loved ones - God’s peace, blessing and guidance as they deal with her homegoing.
Prayers for Sandra.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen
Thank you for the news that Sandra has gone to meet her Loving Savior. I will pray for the comfort of her loved ones.
I am so very sorry for your loss...
Sandra is indeed, in the arms of her Savior...
