Wasn’t there one of those left leaning magazines involved in this scam, as well? I think that he was engaged to a girl who worked for the magazine and she helped him get published. I think it might have been the right leaning, American Standard, that started the investigation.

A better punishment would be to make him finish boot camp...and let his fellow recruits drill instructors know why hes there.
Fixed.

I think you may be confusing him with the scumbag Beauchamp (aka 'Scott Thomas') who wrote for TNR(?). I don't think this guy had any magazine tie-ins.

Forget the fraud charges! 5 months is peanuts. Charge him with murder of innocent civilians! Go for 20 years in the brig! :)
MacBeth claimed that he was an Army ranger who killed more than 200 people, many at close range, including some as they prayed in a mosque.

...five months in prison in U.S. District Court in Seattle.
Nice sentence structure.
It's the thought that counts on this joyous day, isn't it?

"A better punishment would be to make him finish boot camp...and let his fellow recruits know why hes there." Send him to Ranger School.

Thanks for the correction, to you and the others that responded. It’s a shame that there could even be more than one of these scums. I wonder if the other impostor is being prosecuted.

MacBeth claimed that he was an Army ranger who killed more than 200 people... Maybe his combat "experience" came from playing a computer game. And he got killed 200 times. (What's "god" mode?)

"They would actually feel the hot muzzle of my rifle on their forehead," he reportedly said on the video, which is no longer in circulation. Uh huh. "There I was at 15,000 feet, Fokkers to the right of me, MiGs to the left. General Beauregard called on the radio and said "This guy Richtofen has to be taken out." "10-4, good buddy," I replied, and my Spad's jet engines howled...
