 NEWT ... A CANDIDATE?
Newt Gingrich said that he might still consider throwing his hat into the ring if he can raise $30 million by November.
After our American Solutions workshop on the FairTax next week, he is going to spend the month of October seeing if he can bring that money in.
By November 1st, he will decide whether or not to run.
Remember what I said on the air the other day? A caller asked me what I looked for in a presidential candidate. I answered that I wanted someone who really didn't want the job all that badly; someone reluctant to serve. People who spend their live chasing after that kind of power give me a rash.
This Gingrich bit ought to be interesting to watch. Speaking of the American Solutions Day events...we'll be broadcasting the show live from Cobb Galleria Centre here in Atlanta as part of the festivities and you are all invited! Come watch the Boortz Show broadcast live September 27th.
Watch the Neal Boortz radio show live and in person at the Cobb Galleria Center [map] in Atlanta, Georgia Thursday, September 27th.

Newt will not be raising anything close to 30 million. Maybe 3 million.
I was so disappointed when he jumped on the man-made Global Warming wagon.
Say it isn’t so.
Now, I don’t think Newt is up to any shenanigans, I trust the guy, but I do wonder.
I just donated 30 million, got the money from this Hsu guy ...
Newt, how’s that “Contract with America” thing working for ya?

This is so true, and this is why I was thrilled with the election of the new Pope. He didnt want to be Pope; therefore, I knew he would make a good one.

Im curious how you came up with that figure.
Please explain.
Thank you.
.Newt, hows that Contract with America thing working for ya?
If you'll recall, the Republicans did exactly wht the Contrct called for.
Newt has been begging people to beg him to run for at least the last 2 years.
Sad.
Newt carries more baggage than a freight train. Thanks, but no thanks.
He tried to get Clinton but all he succeeded in doing was to get his own ass thrown out.
I was thrilled with the election of the new Pope. He didnt want to be Pope; therefore, I knew he would make a good one. Yeah, but would you want him to marry your sister?
Newt - a great historian and political savvy guy (at times) but he has already failed as a leader.
“Yeah, but would you want him to marry your sister?”
To the Pope or Newt?
That is why I think Newton should be RNC chair instead of Malaise Martinez.
Newt might do a good job as RNC chair - agreed!
I caught a little bit of him on C-Span this morning and did a double-take when he mentioned his book, “A Contract With the Earth”. Global warming giberish from a so-called conservative? What the hell is that about?!
