Ben Stein exposes the frightening agenda of the Darwinian Machine in new movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, coming February, 2008

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (ANS) -- Ben Stein, the highly recognizable television personality, actor and former White House presidential speech writer, is on a journey to answer one of the biggest questions ever asked: "Were we designed or are we simply the end result of an ancient mud puddle struck by lightning?" Stein, who is also a lawyer, an economist, an author and social commentator, is stunned by what he finds on his journey. He discovers an elitist scientific establishment that has traded in its skepticism for dogma.
But even worse, along the way, Stein uncovers a long line of biologists, astronomers, chemists and philosophers who have had their reputations destroyed and their careers ruined by a scientific establishment that allows absolutely no dissent from Charles Darwin’s theory of random mutation and natural selection.
“Big Science in this area of biology has lost its way,” says Stein. “Scientists are supposed to be allowed to follow the evidence wherever it may lead, no matter what the implications are. Freedom of inquiry has been greatly compromised, and this is not only anti-American, it’s anti-science. Its anti-the whole concept of learning.”
In "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," in theaters February, 2008, Stein discovers a High School science educator who teaches a theory as indisputable fact and reveals that university professors unmercifully crush any fellow scientists who dare question the prevailing system of belief.
A news release about the movie explains: "This isn’t the latest Hollywood comedy; it’s a disturbing new documentary that will shock anyone who thinks all conservative leaders, those who believe Creationism to be true and scientists are free to follow the evidence and their own personal faith wherever it may lead."
Expelled uncovers that educators and scientists are being ridiculed, denied tenure and even fired in some cases for the fact that they believe there is evidence of “design” in nature, challenging the idea that life is a result of random chance.
For example, Stein meets Richard Sternberg, a double PhD biologist who allowed a peer-reviewed research paper describing the evidence for intelligence in the universe to be published in the scientific journal Proceedings.
Not long after publication, officials from the National Center for Science Education and the Smithsonian Institution where Sternberg was a research fellow began a coordinated smear and intimidation campaign to get the promising young scientist expelled from his position. This attack on scientific freedom was so egregious that it prompted a congressional investigation.
On his journey, Stein meets other scientists such as astrobiologist Guillermo Gonzalez, who was denied tenure at Iowa State University in spite of his extraordinary record of achievement. Gonzalez made the mistake of documenting the design he has observed in the universe. There are others, such as Caroline Crocker, a brilliant biology teacher at George Mason University who was forced out of the university for briefly discussing problems with Darwinian Theory and for telling the students that some scientists believe there is evidence of design in the universe. The list goes on and on.
Unlike some other documentary films, Expelled doesn’t just talk to people representing one side of the story. The film confronts scientists such as Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, influential biologist and atheist blogger PZ Myers and Eugenie Scott, head of the National Center for Science Education.
The creators of Expelled crossed the globe over a two-year period, interviewing scores of scientists, doctors, philosophers and public leaders. The result is a startling revelation that freedom of thought and freedom of inquiry have been expelled from publicly-funded high schools, universities and research institutions.
“The incredible thing about Expelled is that we don’t resort to manipulating our interviews for the purpose of achieving the ‘shock effect,’ something that has become common in documentary film these days,” said Walt Ruloff, co-founder of Premise Media and co-executive producer.
“People will be stunned to actually find out what elitist scientists proclaim, which is that a large majority of Americans are simpletons who believe in a fairy tale. In which world would you want to live?
apparently you don’t really know science; and that tried argument is so passe-lame (I know many Creation Scientists/ID Scientists thatuse empiricism to test scientific theories, hypothoses). It stupid saying I.D./Creationism is NOT science becuase They (the vast majority of scientists aren’t testing religion-nor the supernatural; the are testing the real creation (God’s creation-in the natural world; through LOGICAL real world scientific method!)

The same can be said about the “scientists” who have adopted the “dogma” about “globalwarming” and who worship at the Church of Gaia led by the High Priest Algore.
These “scientists” (that really is not the correct term) - these Stalinistic, Gestapo people in the scientific world - tolerate NOTHING but their gospel. It is forced on the rest of us and all those who commit heresy among the TRUE scientists are excommunicated from their “church” and their “priesthood”.
In the case of the gospel according to Darwin, these brute tactics have undermined the very essence of Western Civilization to the point that today the number one tenet of modern “faith” is that there are no moral absolutes because there is not God the creator who made us and to whom we are accountable and who is the one true Judge of right and wrong, of good and of evil, but who has given us GUIDANCE and WISDOM through His work in the world, especially through HIS WORD to get through to us the specific nature of our creation by Him and the REASONS behind that creation and the PURPOSE for which we are created!
Darwin’s Church will have to stand before the God of the ages too one day and give an account of their “witness” to the delusion, the great lie, that has been Darwinism, evolutionism, and the disastrous and life destroying influence that “gospel” has been down through the past 150 years or so. (Hitlerian “theology” and the Holocaust being one very major “fruit” of this “gospel”).
The Church of Gaia whose chief tenet is the Global Warming doctrine will, if not stopped, bring similar disaster and suffering to the lives of millions upon whom this “theology” is FORCED in the form of Freedom killing and indeed life killing “laws” that are passed by the Gaia worshipers who are more and more in positions of power in this nation. Those who side with the Gaia theology are all around us, I spoke with one today. The biggest heresy one can commit in this church is to say that global warming is NOT a scientific fact and/or that the ultimate goal of this theology is the death of millions of human beings who are damaging their “god” Gaia earth.
What about the separation of church and state here?
What about being forced to accept “moral code” which is NOT in agreement with that of millions of Americans and of others throughout the world?
These “gospels” have resulted in the deaths of millions and will continue to do so. Because they are truly from the pit of hell authored by the chief hater of the lives of individual human beings and of the idea of freedom - satan himself!
Creationists are trying to sneak it in anyway, this time using PR and lawyers instead of creation "scientists" and aiming at high school science classes.
I guess that's easier than getting into the technical journals. (Those journals are not fair! They require real science!)

No one is stopping Creationists from creating their own scientific establishment. This is purely about public funding.
This should be great! It’s about time someone expose darwinism as a religion. I’ve seen some of the intolerance here at FR.
Science has chose not to ask the big questions, the ones that matter even to them when they are not in the lab. Do they really think that life is without purpose? If so, then why do they act as though it does?
I am a Catholic, I know that the theory Evolution is sound science and am pro-life.
I would never go to a doctor who did not believe in evolution.
