We are exposing our kids to too much information at too early an age. Now we are reaping the whirlwind.
Whatever our opinions of sex education are, the popular media is drowing our kids in filth. As a parent you can do your best to keep your kids from it. You simply cannot do it in total though.
Unless you keep your kid in a closet 24 hours a day, never send them to school or over to another child’s home to play, your kids will see what is presented by our nation’s media. And some of them will act it out.
This isn’t an isolated incident. This type of thing is taking place quite often these days. We only hear about it once in a while.

The police had better investigate that 9 year old but good - it should be glaringly obvious to everyone on the thread that the 9 year old is most likely a victim of molestation himself.
Somewhere in this story is an adult waiting to be arrested.

These kids learn it from somewhere.
Just a couple of sources among many:

Wonder if this was covered in their sex-ed classes.
I'm half-serious here.

That was my question - WHY DOES THIS 9 YEAR OLD KNOW WHAT THIS IS?
Blame the secular left. Vehemently, and with vengeance.

I am betting this happened to the older boy and he is repeating the cycle....
SAD....very sad.

Clearly what they need is more sex education and especially more homosexual sex education. /sarc

I have heard of this happening with older kids, but never grade school. The victims are usually special ed kids.

Unbelievable. There is no innocence anymore. At our town pond this summer, a nine-year-old boy, who was very interested in my daughter, told her, "I have a six-pack! See!" Yeah, so much for innocence.

And people wonder why my kids dont ride the bus. I take them to school every day. I wish my parents had, and that was thirty years ago. The inmates were running the asylum then.

Did she say: Good for you. My daddy has a six-shooter! Trust me, I've bitten the heads off of little brats before. But I didn't this time. He was barely nine, for cryin' out loud. But I watched him carefully after that ;-)

Not Lansing. It was in their newspaper.
They are boys from Howell. THAT is surprising. I thought that was a nice area.

I think that we pay too little attention to the messages TV, movies, and songs are putting out there for our kids. Step back and just watch a popular animated TV show sometime. How are the dads portrayed? the moms? Who are the ones that are 'in charge?' What about churches and ministers in general? Listen to women being called vile names in music and see how they are portrayed in videos - just pieces of meat. Even those idiotic BRATZ dolls for little girls are inappropriate
You are right - we are indeed reaping a whirlwind and I pity the death of innocence.

If convicted as charged, both boys also would have to register as sex offenders for life.Sounds good to me. That sort of thing does not stop.
