lolol
Yeah, and Sharpton won every dem debate.
I don’t have a problem if Huckabee can win, but I have my doubts he has the backing to get the nomination. Nice to see the RINO like Guilanna finishing where he belongs.
Woo hoo!! Go Huckabee!! America loves pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty conservatives!!
Beware, Huck likes the illegals.
I’m not one of the idiots who doesn’t care because my American Idle candidate was a no show but it’s pretty hard to pick a winner when all agreed on most things.
I would vote for Hunter because he’s my guy but thats all I really base it on.
Fact #1. As Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee denounced an immigration bill (Arkansas Senate Bill 206) that “would have required proof of citizenship to register to vote and would have required state agencies to report suspected cases of people living in the country illegally.”
(Doug Thompson, “Immigration Bill un-christian..governor says”Arkansas News Bureau 1/28/05)
Fact #2. As Governor, Mike Huckabee offered a proposal to give state funded scholarships and state benefits to illegal aliens.
(Laura Kellams, “Huckabee Plan would give aid to illegal aliens” Arkansas Democrat Gazette 1/12/2005)
Fact #3. Governor Huckabee supported a Bush-backed immigration plan that provides a path to citizenship for some illegal aliens.
(CNN 2008 Election Center, http://edition.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/candidates/mike.huckabee.html)
Fact #4. Governor Huckabee refuses to sign the “No Amnesty Pledge”.
And now you go and spoil it all.
Meanwhile in another straw poll Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee tie for 3rd place in the Sesame Street Straw Poll. Favorite “Big Bird” drew 41% of the votes and late entrant and outsider “Mayor McCheese” garnered 39% of the votes. Candidate Ron Paul declares his 10% of the vote is a victory for his campaign and boosted his campaign war chest total to $0.68.
Sorry about the thread sir.
The vote included 340 delegates who were hand-selected by 40 of the country’s social activists and opinion-makers. “
Interesting methodology
No problem. Guess they didn’t delve too deeply into amnesty at the debate?
Huckabee’s a nice guy and pretty conservative on most issues but doubt he’ll ever break into the frontrunner ranks. Maybe too nice a guy. But he does do well in these debates.
Huckabee: Hispanics Offer U.S. 'Second Chance'
Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Wednesday the nation is being given a chance to make up for past racism by the way it handles the influx of Hispanics.
Huckabee, a Republican who is considering a run for president in 2008, said Arkansas has made progress on racial justice and has a fresh opportunity to do the right thing in the way it welcomes the growing Hispanic population.
"One of the great challenges facing us is that we do not commit the same mistakes with our growing Hispanic population that we did with African Americans 150 years ago and beyond. We're still paying the price for the pathetic manner in which this country handled that," Huckabee said at a meeting of the Political Animals Club in Little Rock. The club meets monthly to hear from political figures and experts.
"I think frankly the Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before," Huckabee said.
Yea it's News Max... Link
I just checked OnTheIssues.org which is pretty accurate on most things and they seem to have Huck playing all sides on this one.

Mike Huckabee seems like a very nice and sensible man and a man with a very reasonable view of the problems that face America. I like him. But I don’t think he will win the primaries necessary to become the party’s candidate. Maybe if his last name were something other than “Huckabee,” he might have had a chance. :)
