A commentator on religious radicalism in Pakistan, where Deobandis wield significant political influence, told The Times that “blind ignorance” on the part of the Government in Britain had allowed the Deobandis to become the dominant voice of Islam in Britain’s mosques.
These men are all now Christians, one has written a book detailing what the muslims have in mind for all western countries...they'll steal what we have since they do not have that ability, in their own countries to have what we have worked hard for.
The details of the memos and tapes would be interesting to see, but it's certainly no secret Islamists have long sought to replace the Constituion with Sharia Law. Here's what a couple prominent members of the supposedly "moderate" Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) had to say about the issue:
"Those who stay in America should be open to society without melting...If you choose to live here, you have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam ... Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

Them trying to take over the US would be like 6 or 7 of us getting together and trying to take over Canada. Well not quite like that we might actually succeed in taking over one province.

There is an article in the WSJ (an excerpt of a book), today, about a 1979 seige on Mecca that is said to be the beginning of the radical Islamic movement. It said that there were US citizens fighting on both sides; the Black Muslims fighting on the side of the radicals and the US government helping out the Saudi Royal family. The writes says that this where and when Bin Laden turned against the Saudi Royal family.
“Ambitious” is quite the understatement.
