He won’t “win”, but I would love to see Ron Paul mount a credible campaign to scare the crap out of Big Gubmint GOP types. That in and of itself would be a big “win”. Ron could advance his ideology long after he has left this Earth.****
RP supporters are genuine. Other campaigns probably have paid people on these sites supporting their candidate’s positions and attacking other candidates.
It is hard to imagine that all the vitriolic attacks against RP are from ordinary people.
Fatalist thinking is self-defeating. Settling always assures us of mediocrity. You go choose the candidate of your choice. I won’t settle.
*****Dr No stood his ground on the Constitution, pressing no to legislating morality, and no to sending money and troops to the Sudan, and all other questions which would necessitate fed govt involvement in matters not the business of the federal govt under the Constitution.
He did so in the face of an Evangelical society who think we should legislate the morality of their choice. He did so for freedom, individual liberty, and the Constitution. He stood alone as the most honest on the stage.
The man has the big’uns.****
Yes, a man of principle.
“The second tier candidates are trying to make a name for themselves by taking on RP.”
My recollection is that only Hunter took a couple of cheap shots at him tonight. JulieAnnie tranvestite extrodinaire, I change my hats like I change my wives and views, Roamy, I can roam and blow with wind, nor my hero of past John McCain, who disappoints me so now, none had the courage to face the Evangicals.
Thanks RP for being a man.
Of those who had the courage to show, only one had the convictions we conservatives find admirable. Standing on priniciple. Then, not one of the others who had the courage to show, had the courage to commit his political life to the Constitutional principle. Except Dr. Paul. As usual, he was the lone exception to the rule.
I’ll say this, then I’m outta here. It’s the Constitution stupid. It’s the policy stupid.
nite
On NRO his campaign manager announced 3 debates Thompson will be attending in October.
I am still trying to figure out who in the hell is John Cox and how did he get in the middle of the GOP race...and WHEN?
Got this in a recent email on the debate, however no exact time was offered.
“It will also be televised Saturday night, September 22nd on the INSP Network and aired on the DayStar Television Network and seen around the world on God TV.”

Yes, but my crystal ball says that you have listed them in reverse order of how it will end.
Placemark.
probably, but there's still the chance of a breakout by one of the others....especially if one of the ones you mention makes a mistake or just fades out.
He’s a declared candidate for President and has been for a long time, I believe. He’s a businessman and conservative Republican. That’s all I know. I don’t think this is his first and only debate he’s attended, but I could be wrong. Could be, he tends to pick his spots, or else he’s allowed into some and not others...unsure on that.
Thank you!
..but we can't give up.
God can pull Duncan Hunter from the back of the pack & position him in the highest earthly tier!
We continue to pray and work accordingly!
Press on!
I like Keyes's message & believe much can be learned from him....
..but I don't want to think he's weakening Hunter.....I don't see him as a spoiler.
.. because Hunter will stay on point.
It's not over....we have much work to do.
Truly, I know you're not happy with Keyes....
...but look at it this way, Keyes (bless his heart)..gets some strong opinions & truths out there, and they are consistent with what Hunter has already said/expressed...
..but a lot of folks don't like Keyes delivery.
Meanwhile Hunter looks very calm...very authoritive.
Does that help? :)
Alan Keyes is running for president?
Who’s John Cox?
Niether have a chance, but Keyes, as always, is a great orator.
Are you a lib, sir/maam?
No. I've read the Bible.
I didn't say God wasn't perfect - he probably is. But he does make mistakes:
Ever read of Noah and the Flood? Not to mention the whole Lucifer thing and fall of humanity with Eve.
His perfection is not flawlessness but probably something like capacity for infinite justice. If God is perfect in the sense you're thinking how do you explain the existence of a fallen earth?
Thanks Counter
There was a debate? Well, I sure missed it.
