Very interesting background information; thanks for the clarification of the chaplain issue.
What a great debate, thanks out to you CounterCounterCulture for the thread and George W Bush for the ping.
Hmmm....I think what you heard was a lot of boos, not cheers, for Dr. Wacko Paul.
I know. It makes me wondering why he doesn’t get more support from military families. He and his son were both in the military. And I believe he said his dad was also. He needs a new PR agent.
He's under 35 years old? Or he was born outside of the U.S.?
If not, then he's plenty electable. However, we have it all confused. We are the ones meant to do the heavy lifting. He cannot carry our values for us to the voting booth. He's just reminding us that we have them.
Sorry. “It makes me wonder”.
“Duncans my guy. Only candidate to stand up to the anti-Americans Saturday.”
All of the other presidential candidates were invited to the rally to support our troops, but didn’t find the time to show up - only Duncan Hunter thought it was important.
He’s a true Patriot.
Good question. He is either afraid to debate or believes it is beneath him. Either way is bad.
“I think the sway of the ‘values voters’ is exaggerated for the above reasons.”
My theory is that RudyMcThomney are trying to run to the center and jettision Values Voters along the way, they do so at their own peril.
Thanks for the thread.
Just the realist in me “speaking my mind”. Please feel free to ignore my comment.
I think even God would disagree with you. =)
“Empty podiums for absent presidential candidates. LOL :-)”
The funniest part was when the absent candidates were asked questions and the camera focused on their podium. I thought that was fabulous.
Nobody likes war, but freedom is not free.
The major candidates knew that it was safe to duck out of this debate. No major network or news channel is covering it, so I’d bet the vast majority of “values voters” this debate supposedly represents don’t even know that it happened in the first place.
There will be no measurable repercussions for any of the “big four” whatsoever. That is why they didn’t show up.
This answer is a non-sequitur, as much as I agree with the sentiment.
God is perfect, and I’m surprised you don’t know that.
Are you a lib, sir/ma’am?
Um...this is a nothing debate, with third-tier candidates, that nobody is going to watch.
Fred doesn’t NEED to be there.
Thanks. Many don’t know the background to Klingenschmitt’s case.
