O.J. Simpson has been arrested in Las Vegas and will likely be charged on three counts -- conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and armed robbery with a deadly weapon, according to CNN.
Story developing ...
Yes, it’s a cut and dried case or should be. OJ could have found a less felonious way to build his public personna.
Call Judge Ito! Where’s Johnny Cochran?
I’m not underestimating OJ’s foolishness. I just figure that DAs tend to look at big names in a case as votes.
I think Johnny is not available.
“Looks like its going to go beyond armed robbery, to tax evasion, money laundering, criminal contempt...”
Oh, how exciting...couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy! Hee-hee!
The sports memorabilia business is a dirty business.
All of the kickbacks that OJ has been getting from the memorabilia dealears should have gone to the families of the people he slaughtered.
Now everyone is going to jail...
Johnny died. I don’t know what happened to Ito.
That’s what I heard them say on the news. Of course they’re just speculating. They were claiming flight risk.
I feel robbed (no pun intended).
I'm pretty sure that intimidation is step # 1 ;)
This is why I am trying to alert people to this condition of Narcissism - so we can all understand how the minds of these people are so askew in their thought processes. The psychritrist on FOX said...they are like speeding cars, with the inability to apply the breaks - in life, as others do when it comes to acting, and thinking about the results of one's actions. They just do what they want, and no one, no one else's feelings, desires, hurts, etc. are important as long as they achieve their goal.
Narcissists are all around us, and so many of us feel we are wrong (sometimes in a relationship) or somehow doing something wrong, when a narcissist decides to attack. They have a way of shaking off all guilt, and putting the blame on everyone else in the world.
It is time we pay attention to this disorder, rather than try to put some understanding into these people's actions as compaired to how we would react. They simply do not react to anything like a normal person would. They are damaged goods...they have no ability to observe laws or standards, because they resent all authority or anyone who tells them why they should or should not do something.
The WORST FEAR THEY HAVE IS BEING FOUND OUT! Once that happens, they run, try to disappear for a while, but eventually the Narcissism takes over and soon they are committing all the previous acts again - all to gain some attention.
For most, their lives are played out privately and no one knows all the sordid details, so they can hide for a long time - even taking on another personality or interests and friends for a while. But it does not last. Soon they will seek out attention again, try to satisfy their (what is termed) Narcissistic Supply and get things exciting in their lives once more. They thrive on that excitement - positive or negative.
But, for OJ, his life is played out in the public eye - so his Narcissistic Supply must also come from the public. Hence he commits acts that draw attention to him through the media, and it does not make him upset at all.
Once he is in the news, he is thrilled. Truly, it is a "high" for him...attention is a drug. He will do all sorts of things to fog up the facts, as before. But he totally enjoys the game!!!!<.p
ROFL! I wonder if these buglers frequent the same golf courses as the killers? If so, this should make OJ's job much easier.
Johnnie ain't lookin' too good these days.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...So OJ, cell #1, #2, or #3? Twenty five is not a bust in Blackjack, it’s years of your life in Jail!
I'm in the mood to act like a progressive liberal and demand CHANGE! There ought to be a new law damn it!: BEFORE YOU WRITE A BOOK YOU HAVE TO READ ONE.
Lock this guy up before he hurts somebody else. His old “nice guy” persona was a total fake. He’s pathological.
Narcissistic action is so predictable when you understand the personality disorder. OJ will do and act exactly as he always has, because it worked before (he believes) so why change? Narcissists never change, they only manipulate and go on.
In an unguarded moment, my narcissistic boss said that his greatest fear was that someone would look inside him and discover that nothing was there. But he got over it and continued his narcissistic ways.
“Mark Fuhrman explained this morning on TV how simple the case against OJ was.”
Does that mean he’ll be acquitted of this one, too?
