O.J. Simpson has been arrested in Las Vegas and will likely be charged on three counts -- conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and armed robbery with a deadly weapon, according to CNN.

I don’t think so much that they ever are. I served jury duty once and one of the jurors actually SLEPT, snoring and all through the whole trial. I was shocked that the defense didn’t make a fuss of it. Could have done I suppose.

Don’t worry about his children. They are already scarred and deranged for life. No one can help them at this point. The daughter is already having all kinds of problems as we speak.
Aren’t there federal sentencing guidelines for armed robbery that would be applicable in Nevada?
He’s dead Jim. The cocktail team is implicating him now, and that is good. Armed Robbery could easily get him 25 years.

Last time I read a headline was this morning...something about the “victim” of the robbery was siding with OJ. I thought...okay, he got away with it.

Probably not. Unless there is some underlying federal crime, such as crossing state lines as part of the conspiracy. Federal sentencing guidelines only apply to federal crimes.

Looks like we’re going to find out the dirt behind how OJ has been supporting himself after the civil judgement.
Sounds like OJ was autographing stuff for a network of shady sports memorabilia dealers on the down-low and getting unreported cash kickbacks.
Looks like it’s going to go beyond armed robbery, to tax evasion, money laundering, criminal contempt...
This was before the report of OJ’s arrest. He went through the steps in handling a robbery case of this type, that it appeared like a simple case those in robbery handle all the time. Said he was familiar with the department that made the arrest and said they will not be impressed with his football skills and will not roll over for him.
Now that WOULD be nice...
