The Talk Shows
Sunday, September 16th, 2007
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Defense Secretary Robert Gates; Gen. David Petraeus; Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sens. John Kerry, D-Mass., and John McCain, R-Ariz.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sens. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., and Carl Levin, D-Mich.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Defense Secretary Robert Gates; Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Retired Gen. Wesley Clark; Sens. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Christopher Dodd, D-Conn.; Reps. Tom Lantos, D-Calif., and Mike Pence, R-Ind.
One of their media stars, Michael Putney,(aka Michael the PUtz),former Miami Herald editorial rat/clone,took on our Fred who happened to be in South Fla. earlier this week.
It was fascinating to watch.
. Fred manhandled the metro guy so brilliantly it was awesome.
Fred mastered every question from "why was the cop killer running around with ak's" to "what would you do when Fidel dies."
He did it with grace, intelligence yet at the same time body slammed the putz equivalent to picking him up by the ankles and bashing him from wall to wall until he just shut up and stopped asking stoopid questions.
Battered, bloody, and bruised the Putz simply went away. It was must see tv.
ROTFLMAO—good one.
Huff&Puffington is on those shows because there are no whacko lefties. Only more insightful then the previous insanity.
Any steps away from lunacy will be punished by the DU crowd. Take a look at the Samestream press and see if they don’t sound like just as hatefilled?
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Sad but true.
Sometimes statements are so outrageous you don’t need a sarcasm tag. When talking about Pravda, sarcasm is harder to do.
Pray for W and Our Troops
You have mail.
He also admitted early on in 04, that he “stays a little bit drunk”, to stave off the stress of war.
The US military should never allow him access to their intell.
Do they have rehab, for liberals who drink too much Kool aid?
Has Juan ever considered a nice little stint in rehab??
Absolutely despicable performance by Williams this morning. There is a nasty email to be composed when I'm done with the thread. He needs to apologize and then resign or be suspended. I'm really disappointed in Brit and Kristol, who both passed on responding to his filth.
Can I pick C, both of the above?
Pence is doing a nice job with Woofie.
Woofie has an interesting technique...he challenges the things that Pence says. Then he asks Lantos probing questions like “What do you think?” and lets him ramble away without challenge.
I don’t suggest that McCain should have lost his temper. He should, however, have made a comment such as “so you want to repeat the same tactics you pushed on us in Vietnam, which led to the slaughter of millions and the enslavement of millions more?” Or “you’re lying when you say that you’ll leave troops there to prevent a genocide, that’s what you said about Vietnam 30 years ago and look how well that worked out for the people of South East Asia.”
Instead he pulled a Casper Milquetoast and offered up such stirring arguments as “you should check what they actually said, next week I want you to check what they actually said.” Brilliant debating technique, Senator McCain. Remind me never to have him act as an advocate for something I want to succeed.
Between McCain, Russert and Kerry, the person I despise most is McCain. What a phony.
Typical woffie, he is a dem lib and always gives benefit of the doubt to any other dem lib but questions the conservatives. I had to switch the channel. Glad to hear that Pence is doing well.
I’m watching the ANSWER rally and the Iraq Vets against the war are speaking now. Not many of them, “raise your fists, power to the people”, blah, blah, blah. Some guy claiming to be a conservative up at the rally...they turn off his mike. LOL, liberals love free speech....free liberal speech. Now they turn the mike back on; he is for protecting our troops, war is bad but sometimes it is needed....off goes the mike again, camera’s pan away while they remove him from the stage. HA!
But both Brit and then Kristol passed on taking the final comment. I was very disappointed in both of them.
Even his own congressman is that much of a stinking
and weak rat ... completely void of character and honor.

“Much has been said about the mendacious, full-page advertisement
MoveOn.org ran in the New York Times this week
referring to Gen. David Petraeus as “General
Betray Us.”
Democrats in Congress orchestrated the piece,
and most have refused to condemn this baseless
attack on a man who has devoted more than
three decades to defending the people of
the United States.
Incredibly, even Petraeus’ own Congressman refused
to defend him.
Let’s be clear: General Petraeus was born and raised
in Cornwall, New York and he is a graduate of the
U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Both Petraeus’ hometown and alma mater fall within
New York’s 19th Congressional District in the
Hudson River Valley. The district is represented
by Rep. John Hall, an anti-war Democrat who has
been in office for nine months.
One might wonder what kind of Congressman could
sit back and watch in silence as his own District’s
favorite son is slandered by the cretins at MoveOn.
But let’s not be surprised by John Hall anymore.
Some background: Before eking out a victory in
the historically conservative 19th District in 2006,
John Hall was a singer with the 1970’s band Orleans.
By the early 1980’s, he was establishing himself
as a reliable leftwing shill, making an anti-Nuke
propaganda film with a repugnant gaggle of leftists
and celebrities, including Jane Fonda herself.
In 1991, he was a county legislator and voted to
defeat a resolution declaring support for our
troops during Operation Desert Storm. But Hall
didn’t stop there.
By the late 1990’s, he’d sailed his yacht to Cuba
(an act that contravenes U.S. law, which Hall still
hasn’t explained). He enjoyed his trip to the
dictatorship so much he wrote a song about it.”

Stunning .. that his own congressman is *that*
empty, hateful and partisan to also betray him.
Petraeus is the epitome of intelligence, class,
respect, duty and competence .. how blessed we are
that he’s there.. as are so many of our very finest
Americans.
His brilliant textbook on counterinsurgency will
be the military bible for the coming decades of
warfare .. and it’s being shown to be working.
The U.S. Army/Marine Corps Counterinsurgency
Field Manual (Paperback)
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780226841519&itm=1
Brief detail:
“Finally, the manual makes clear that conducting a successful counterinsurgency
campaign requires a flexible, adaptive forceone that can both fight
and buildled by agile, competent, culturally astute leaders.
As the guidelines and discussions provided in the manual explain, counterinsurgency
operations, inevitably, are exceedingly difficult and complex; indeed, they represent the
graduate level of warfare.”

Petraeus was also gracious, when he was doubly wounded
by insensitive reporters who insisted on asking him
how he “felt” about the “betray us” ad (idiots!).
He has maintained his sterling professional demeanor
throughout. He said the wound was somewhat
blunted by a hometown friend who sent him
a note of support with the poem, “If.”

I just realized ... was there ever a face to face interrogation
by the ugly windbag, Murtha, of Petraeus?
I saw a lot of the hearings, but must’ve
obviously missed that segment. Would love any
details, if anyone has them.
God bless Gen. Petraeus and all our brave
troops and allies... fighting the enemies
from without and within.
I saw Cafferty on some talk show theother day..for the first time. He has a book I think..he said his parents were married/divorced with other people like 13 times and both were alcoholics who never got into recovery...his dad killed a fiancee?
