I still find it odd given the fact that one of the Dem house organs, the WP, is making this a front page story day after day. Usually, the talk shows take their agenda from the NYT and the WP.

Oh, did you guys notice that Weasley Clark came out this week and endorsed Hillary?

She just had to have a General in light of the “willing suspension of disbelief” insult.

I question the timing. LOL

That 's the state of Fox, lately. Fox USED to compete with networks during Prez' speech, before. Not anymore. See the ratings:

Actual Presidential Address: - FNC averaged 3,066,000 in total viewers.

Address/Response/Analysis - FNC: 2,564,000 total viewers.

Memo to Brit Hume: Time to Reconstitute the Panel, which oflate, became unfair & unbalanced. Nina Easton & Mort Kondracke were saying that Bush should not speak, which itself should be a disqualifier to have them on the Fox panel especially to opine on the speech.

The one thing that stood out for my husband when we watched the rerun of President Bush’s speech on Thursday and which hardly anyone talks about is the amount of terrorists killed and/or captured each month since January of this year. Bush said 1500 per month were killed! Why doesn’t FOX put up a simple graphic that says “terrorists killed ___ vs. Coalition forces killed ___” this week, or this past month, etc. If the American people saw this graphic daily, I guarantee you the support for this war would be ,much greater!

I’m with you AB. The Swift Boats had it right. I know one on another board and got the skinny from him BEFORE I read the book.

The book just backed up what he said.

ANd also Kerry is was running for President...Gen. Petraeus is NOT running for office.

He’s got more important things to do right now.

What the Left is trying to do is “Boorda” General Petraeus.

Adm. Mike Boorda was the Chief of naval Operation under Clinton...NewsWeek was getting ready to air a story questioning whether he’d earned one of the medals he was wearing.

Boorda comitted suicide the day the reporter was due to show up at his office.

It later turned out he DID earn the medal he was wearing.

This is nothing more than an attempted repeat of that.

Clark may be Hillary’s VP to bolster her lack of national security credentials.

The public obviously doesn't like lies being told about our top military leaders and I predict all these distortions about the Gen. will backfire on the rats.

As for Rudy he shot himself in the foot on Friday when he stated that illegals from Mexico were "not really breaking the law by being here." These cuts were played on the Laura Ingraham show. He lost lots of support by doing that, bad move.

I did not hear the word Hsu on Fox news Sunday today.

The panel ended talking about President Bush’s speech to the nation Thursday night. On Brit’s show last Monday, the panel stated their opinion that President Bush was making a mistake going on TV to give the address. Brit must have strongly held that opinion, to use it as bookends for this weeks news coverage, and I am just cannot figure out why.

Surely, we have been hearing for years that the president does not use his bully pulpit as he should.

Usually, the talk shows take their agenda from the NYT and the WP.

Not when it relate to damage the Clintons. Clintons have gate-keepers inside the media, not to let them speak truth if it hurt them.

Do you think AP & other media outlets would not report it if that were the truth?

Pilot Receives Distinguished Flying Cross

KUNSAN AIR BASE, South Korea, Sept. 13, 2007 — An F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot assigned to the 35th Fighter Squadron here was recently awarded the Distinguish Flying Cross for his extraordinary achievement while flying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Capt. David Anderson, a 35th FS flight commander, received the medal from Col. C.Q. Brown, the 8th Fighter Wing commander.

“Captain Anderson distinguished himself with courage and flight skill during combat operations enabling ground forces to get out of harm’s way,” Brown said. “It was my honor to award him the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions while supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is one shining example of many airmen who contribute to the fight every day.”
