Victim Claims OJ Simpson was "Calling the shots" in Vegas Robbery
AOL News / TMZ.com ^ | 09/14/07 | TMZ Staff

The man who claims he was robbed by O.J. Simpson has just spoken exclusively to TMZ. Alfred Beardsley, a sports memorabilia collector, says Simpson and his posse pretended to be customers who wanted to buy the suit Simpson wore when he was acquitted. Beardsley says they entered the room and two men drew guns.

He said Simpson was calling the shots during the alleged robbery. Earlier today, Simpson told the AP he didn't break into the room, he just took what was his.

Most of his defense team is dead.

OJ was just looking for Nicole’s killer.

Damn that man has perseverance. I believe that someday his relentless struggle for justice will be recognized.

No Johnny Cochran, no Judge Ito, no LA Prosecutors office, no all Black jury. OJ is going down.

The most recent news item: the victims claimed that the perps also took other, non-OJ items in the “sting.” That makes it even worse. Pulling guns is a major no-no, sting or not. The cops and the legal eagles are very tough on thieves with guns in LV. Hurts the image of a “family friendly” place and even a “What happens here, stay here” image. OJ has needed serious jail time for years. Could it be now?

OJ sure is a demonstrated legal genius.

Apparently he is too smart for the old "no comment talk to my lawyer"

One of OJ's attorneys was a co-founder of LegalZoom.com. Maybe Simpson can find a useful legal form at the company's web site.

Wasn't some of O J's personal memorabilia handed over to the Goldman family as a partial payment for civil case?

I'm wondering if this is some of that memorabilia.

The only thing that bothers me about this whole story - Is FOX News obsession with celebrity scandal news. You can bet it will be 24/7 OJ for weeks.

Some people never learn. But I would like to see him finally go to jail for something.

I wouldn’t shed any tears if OJ was convicted of this and was innocent.

I don’t think it is so much “obsession”, I think it is more rage that so many of us feel. We just want him removed from society, put in prison, and hope for inmate justice, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!

My suspicion is that the Goldmans will make sure he never gets the suit back, even if it is his.

In spite of the victim’s statement—the auctioneer of the suit, in spite of video camera tapes showing Simpson with his friends two of whom had drawn guns in the hallway, in spite of Simpson’s own statement that he was there carrying out a sting operation- read that as carrying out an armed robbery- the police still have said he is only a ‘suspect’...He is not under arrest...The police are now interrogating the walls to see if they saw or heard anything, next will come the cleaning staff..meanwhile the suit in question—will probably disappear

OJ is a narcissist who believes he is above the law. That is a typical trait of all narcissists. He got away with murder, why not robbery (armed or not)?

Maybe he was looking for his gloves, the ones he verified he had, but in court THAT pair that were produced as evidence were ones that supposedly "...did not fit." So, whatever happened to the gloves that he must have had? They were NEVER produced by OJ or his legal team to prove that his gloves were not used. Wonder why not?

Wonder why the actual gloves were not admitted as evidence to offset the question of the gloves that were brought in and "...don't not fit."

So, maybe the expensive gloves were stolen for memorabilia, and OJ was looking for them in Las Vegas? I mean, would he have lost such a pair of expensive gloves? They must have been stolen from a locker! LOLOLOL
