CONCORD One of four men accused of helping convicted tax evaders Edward and Elaine Brown avoid arrest allegedly had a "gun in every room" when agents arrested him in Vermont Wednesday, and another recently enlisted in the U.S. Army and had a pipe bomb and other weapons in his New York home when authorities searched it yesterday, officials said.
"We've said from the very beginning ... that people who may be aiding and abetting the Browns are subject to investigation, arrest and prosecution," U.S. Marshal for New Hampshire Stephen R. Monier told reporters after the U.S. District Court hearings.

Seems like the Army might want to start screening its recruits a little better.
Obviously a clear violation of the law that says that you can only have a gun in 50% of the rooms in your house. Book’em, Danno...
A ‘gun in every room’ is a bad thing because . . .???
Yeah really...is the pipe bomb a firecracker in a roll of toilet paper?
It must just be like me leaving reading glasses around the house so I don’t have to look for them.
I only have one gun and it moves when I do.
LOL
So......every room in my house has a gun in it. Except the bathroom, too much moisture.
Lets see, I’m within 6’ of three weapons and I’m not anywhere near my gun room, gun safes or the “other room”.
Throw in a couple of 16’ bayonets for good measure that are right behind me.
Good thing I’m not a criminal. The MSM would have a field day as the BATF carried my “Arsenal” out to their vans.
If your carry piece is polymer or stainless, you can have that with you when you go in there, and of course take it with you when you leave. The low duty cycle in a high-moisture environment won't cause you any trouble.
Glocks are very corrosion-resistant. They make great shower guns!
It appears that the US Marshalls are handling this case better than the cases they handled during the Clinton years.
Why is surprising a liberal puss considered “news?”
Hate to disagree... but even “stainless” rusts!
Keep it clean and lubed and the problem lessens.

(Sorry, couldn't resist) ;-)
Yes, it does...but 20 minutes in a steamy bathroom, followed by a normal day of carry, isn't all that tough an environment. Proper lubrication is assumed.
With a comment like that, it seems inevitable what part of your anatomy is used to secure the weapon while you are showering. LOL
I guess that’s what you call a “safe house.”
sounds like a typical day in Texas, even without a trip to the john.

A shower gun! You learn something everyday on FR. My Glock will now go in the shower with me.
