They take their football very seriously there in OK.

And we wonder why some schools limit what color or kind of t-shirts students can wear. Sounds like some adults need to grow up and get a life. Maybe get out of the bar and away from the remote control for a while.

Nards.
They lose most of their value once you take them out of the package.

This is a dynamic of sports that I find idiotic.
I like the home team, but for heaven’s sake, it’s just a game. Those who act like this make every fan look like a toothless brain-dead knuckledragger.
What makes the team from twenty miles down the road, public enemy number one, when they show up?
Seriously... grow up folks.

"I've actually heard callers on talk radio say that this guy deserved what he got for wearing a Texas T-shirt into a bar in the middle of Sooner country," said Irven Box, an attorney in this city 20 miles from Oklahoma's campus in Norman.
At least they put sports in its proper perspective.

Thomas, who once lived in Houston and became a Texas fan during the heyday of star running back Earl Campbell, is still recovering from his injuries but has returned to work as a meat cutter at a Sam's Club warehouse store. There was a thread a while back about the ball-grabbing Okie church deacon, but it didn't mention that the victim is a professional meat cutter. This story keeps getting better.:)

Try wearing an OU shirt into a bar in Austin and see if you fare any better.
Give this guy a Darwin Award and let him go.

These are the same type of people that go to Star Trek conventions and get dressed up and learn to speak Klingon — only football is slightly more socially acceptable. Same mentality, although much more violent.
