tgslTakoma was up late putting Vietnam Memorial Wall (DC) Defaced Sept 7-8, 2007: PART 2 on youtube and asked that this be posted.

Part 3 will show the vandalism to the Nurses Statue and the Brothers Statue.

tgslTakoma also noticed on East Wall Panel 15E that it had multiple deep, long, vertical scratches/gouges. That will also be in Part 3

I know you are new, so I am just joshing you a bit, but...if it had been a cleaning accident, the Park Service would have figured that out by now, even if they do have more than their share of PC loving dim bulbs there.

as i said on another "wall thread", i've had a VERY bad feeling about this since GOEI & thought we needed to "recon" the wall area at night, starting about 9/9/7 till well after the GOEIII. (YES, i KNOW it would have been a PITA.)

NOW,given this mess that may NEVER be "fixed right", i really wish we vets had taken on that project.

They really should install camera’s at the memorials so they can catch the perps.

This is making me sick to my stomach.To think that my first and maybe only visit to the Vietnam Memorial Wall and the Nurses Statue is now marred by the damage done to it.

I just don’t see the hallmarks of code pink on this. The won’t lift a finger with out much much fanfare and media attention. If it was code pink it be all over the MSM with shrieking harridans and flabby ugly middle aged hippy women lolling about, splashing garrish pink paint on everything as soon as the camera’s were in place.

IMHO, it is the work of IVAW or what ever that group that tours with Al-Sheehani and her derelict corp.
