Yahoo also has an article on this today, calling it a "remarkable discovery". Check out this demonstration on Youtube:

I've never been called a treehugger but this looks like an amazing source of clean energy.

The RF energy put into the device EXCEEDS the heat energy obtained. There may be electrolysis going on and he’s burning the hydrogen with the oxygen liberated. However, some theorize that he’s only creating a plasma which is giving off enough heat to run a Stirling engine.

Demo Stirling engines aimed at science classrooms will run off the hear of your hand.

What does having a source of clean energy have to do with being a treehugger? Treehuggers aren't principally for clean energy, they're against advanced technology or anything else that makes an industrialized society possible.

Does it say how much energy is being applied to gain the “effect”? You can do a lot of neat things that are net losers of energy.

Oh come on guys! Keanau Reeves did this in his apartment milling a piece of machinery. The experiment became stable and cold fusion was born.

Then evil government dudes killed the entire scientific team leaving him on the run with a love interest. Evil corporations and evil government fighting the righteous left.
Remember? Free energy? One Love Let’s get together and feel all right.....

I wonder how much the salt had to do with this? We have millions of tons of salt here in the US.

So the solution is to burn our food and boil our water for energy now? For some reason I want to survive and this isn’t helping. ;-)

Notice in the you tube video, the scale on his “RF machine” is labeled Watts, with a scale from 0 to 1200. with the lowest non zero number of 200 watts. A properly scaled laboratory instrument would nominally run at half scale - 600 watts. In other words, he is putting about 600 watts of power in, to get about a “candle power” out. With this type of efficiency, you could drive an automobile with the power of a nuclear reactor. Will work great, when every one has their own nuclear reactor.

First, get a millions watts of power. Then blast the salt water until it catches fire. Yeah, makes sense. What do they create the wattage for the RF from? Oh, electricity?

If you think this discovery is great, wait till you hear about the new cash-flow engine business I have started.

Yes, I have discovered a source of unlimited cash flow directly into your savings account. All I need is your checking account number and your savings account balance will increase. It's almost like magic.

This is an almost limitless source of cash - just keep putting money into your checking account to keep this cash-flow engine running and your savings will accumulate. Imagine what you can do with this new source of funds. Yes, you could fund free lunches for experimenters in ZPE projects and other promising free-energy technologies.

How much is that worth to you?

My fee start at only 50%!!!

Just go to my website: www.SUMPEN4NUTTEN.com

That’s gonna be one log-@$$ed extention cord hanging out the back of my F-250, connecting me to the BGE substation. I figure at today’s recently increased rates my weekly electric bill will be in the neighborhood of $900 to burn the salt water (hydrogen) required for my weekly commute. Better get back to the drawing board Mr. Kanzius.

However, when Rustum Roy - a professor of chemistry at Penn State University - took him up on the challenge and attempted to recreate the experiment, he was amazed to see that it actually worked.

Back when the SuperCollider was being built in Texas, Rustum Roy published an article in Physics Today questioning the enormous amount of money that was to be spent on this, and presumably diverted from other areas of scientific research. Leon Lederman, a Nobel Prize winner and SuperCollider backer, responded in a letter that questioned whether Rustum Roy was even a real person. Another writer then pointed out that making fun of Roy's name was a sign that the SuperCollider backers did not have a valid argument. Not too long after this the SuperCollider was defunded.

Aw no, not this sh*t again! And this story (different publication” was on here the other day.

From the top...

The energy required to excite those molecules to break those bonds so they can burn is greater than the energy that comes from the burning of the gasses.

Then, there is the problem of embrittlement of the metals in the engine.

Shall we go on?

(banging head)

Oh, not again... jeez.
