Orlando International Terror Plot?
AM 540 WFLA Radio ^ | 9/10/07 | Bud Hedinger

"Credible Security Risk" Those are the words of the pilot on Delta Flight 1824 out of OIA, after it pulled back from the gate Friday morning to take off for Atlanta. Nine Middle Eastern passengers, six males and three females, had been denied access to the plane when TSA screeners found they were carrying an array of suspicious items ranging from hydrogen peroxide, which can be used to make bombs, to wires and Vaseline bottles taped together. Perhaps most disturbing, what one TSA worker tells me were the first positive tests for SEMTEX ever reported by security at OIA. SEMTEX is considered the bomb making material of choice by Islamic terrorists. In addition, a couple of them also had improper identification. The suspicious passengers were denied access to the flight, but ultimately...(are you ready for this?)...they were allowed to go on their way after questioning by airport officials and Orlando police!

Stories like this make me sick physically and mentally at the depths of incompetence our bureaucrats have slipped.

I do want to respond to the cowboy down thread about using my belt as a weapon. If I remove my belt my pants will be down to my knees before I can swing it...

“Orlando International Airport is MCO.’

Thank you, I try to make this point all the time.

Taken from Wiki, so for what it’s worth:

Named for John Bevins Moisant, aviation pioneer.

The international airport of New Orleans, Louisiana was originally named Moisant Field in his honor, though it has since been renamed Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

The airport retains its “MSY” identifier, derived from the airport’s origins as “Moisant Stock Yards” the name given to the land where Moisant’s fatal airplane crash occurred, and upon which the airport was later built.

I was wondering if you can still wear belts with BIG buckles on planes anyway.

"Will a taser still discharge through vaseline I wonder?"

I don't know, but a bullet will go through nicely from the air marshal that's hopefully on board.

Yep, it's a religion thing. And size 11 Tony Lamas. Ain't no crime to be a good sized ornery redneck yet.

22 seconds is an eternity at my current age.

I used to fly out of CVG (Covington, KY) for a long time. Most people know it as Cincinnati. Got me interested in the topic.

Them Tony Lamas pointed toe boots would come in real handy.

I wouldn’t mind going through the mosque while they have their rears vulnurable with my boots on. :)

Now it nighty night time.

I pray nothing happens tomorrow or any other day for that matter.
