Connie while I was in the Air Force I applied to become a boom operator on the KC135,I took the Flight medical exam and passed everything except the eye exam. They said my depth perception was not quite good enough.

Those guys that do that job have my respect because they need nerves of steel,esphcially when the weather is bad.

Over here we have valleys and large gulches. Most A/C and helo crashes occur when a pilot flies up the valley, Not a good practice. I got this skinny from an FAA investigator.
