[history]
√ How Fred Thompson disappointed conservatives during his 8 years in the Senate.
√ The only time he played a major role on a major piece of legislationand he was on the liberal side.
√ Why he fails the Goldwater Test, getting an F.
√ Why he fails the Reagan Test, getting an F.
√ How he runs around with the wrong crowdthe Marshmallow Republicans.
√ Why one of Washingtons key media liberals is maneuvering for Fred Thompson.
√ What his wrong votes on these 18 important issues tell us about his commitment to conservatism.

Richard A. Viguerie, huh? You might find this of interest:
Viguerie also did pro bono work for the World Anti-Communist League (WACL) during the 1970s. WACL was founded in 1966 in Taipei, Taiwan. According to a profile posted at Right Web, WACL "was conceived as an expansion of the Asian People's Anti-Communist League, a regional alliance against communism formed at the request of Chiang Kai-shek at the end of the Korean War." Accord to Sara Diamond, Viguerie's "ties to WACL may have had something to do with his winning the lucrative fundraising contract for the "Children's Relief Fund," sponsored by the Moonies' ... KCFF. That was in 1977 -- precisely the period when Viguerie was starting to organize the New Right resentment against the Carter administration. New York State charity auditors found that less than 6.3 percent of the $1,508,256 Viguerie raised actually went to needy Korean children. The "charity" went to ... Viguerie, who netted a fee of more than $920,000."
I trust him! /sarc

apparently he is not ideologically pure after all. I kind of picked up that he is a country clubber and really will not be an aggressive leader. I also don't think he can expand the party outside of its currently shrinking small town and Southern base. That said like everyone else I will vote for him or whoever the party nominates certainly if it is Hilary that is the alternative. But, I suspect he is the weakest candidate.

That list looks like the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine.
The only thing missing is, "Thompson Doesn't Know the 201 Sex Tricks To Drive Conservatives Wild!!!"

Those of us who aren’t American Idle voters have long recognized him as more of the same.

FRed’s only fault was McLame/Foolsgold.
The rest is a bunch of Bologna.

You obviously were not around while Thompson was catting around Washington DC in the 1990s.

Looks like a cheap vanity press book.. too bad you have to buy the book to see the so called facts they are selling..
I do see they also didn’t do due diligence on a lot of the stuff on this site, especially the immigration votes..
http://www.conservativesbetrayed.com/gw3/articles-latestnews/articles.php?CMSArticleID=2438&CMSCategoryID=19
Taken right out of NumbersUSA- a few of these votes have already been shown that Thompson voted NAY on them when they say he voted Yea (they only look at a procedural vote to move a bill from one committee to another and ignore the vote on the actual bill..) there is at least one other listed there where Thompson co-sponsored a similar amendment that didn’t have some of the exceptions....
Of course the clincher is that on almost every article they compare the candidate to the FRAUD Ron Paul.. let me guess what campaign is behind this...

Lots of exaggeration there, if you read closely. The author seems to be trolling for email addresses.
But if he has a contender who can be a more viable, effective conservative, I’m all ears.

The site that is selling this vanity book is definitely a Paul groupie site.. they compare all the candidates to Paul.. that big strong(sarc) Texan..
They also delve into CFR conspiracies (first mark against Thompson in the link I posted above...) that screams Ron Paul/Alex Jones front..

Apparently you are jumping the shark.....
He’s yet to fully define his platform or views....
I’ll wait to listen to what he has to say rather than the definition from others with questionable motives.....
