I fear you are spot on. He will be this elections Perot...Texan and all.
If he is then I think you can add ‘liar’ to his resume. Hasn’t he stated or at least I’ve read where he said he’d not run as a 3rd party candidate this time. Thus he’ll not be on the General ballot as a candidate for he’ll not win the Republican nomination.
Now he’ll stay in till the convention much like Keyes did in 2000 and will also garner a few of the delegates. But he’ll never have enough or the 1855 delegates to win the nomination. This is Paul’s last hurrah.

I agree with that.
His domestic policies are good, his foreign policies will get my family and I killed.

I don’t think Paul has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning.
But that doesn’t mean I won’t vote for him in the primaries.

“his last name was Daly.”
Wasn’t sure. I did my last 2 years of high school at Leo on 79th & Sangamon. His son Larry was in my class. He became a tough kid-—held his own in a couple of good brawls; had to since everyone ridiculed his old man and the kid had to defend his goofy dad.
Maybe he’s working on Paul team now. :)

Perot got a substantial amount of the vote in 2 presidential elections.
Both he and Paul have some VALID points. OTOH, I think I'll shoot myself.

I actually think Ru running for a third party would help Republicans both by siphoning off antiwar voters from sHillary and removing his association from our party thus allowing us to win even more moderates that would otherwise be scared off by Ru’s insanity.

You say something about him on some places and they will jump down your throat. Many of them excel at vitriol.
I just laugh at them and encourage them to see just how low they can go.
They never let me down.

I think RP will get a much larger “protest vote” than many are now expecting. Only the disgusted will be for Paul in the end.

Paul may have the last laugh. His supporters (libertarian, swing, populist, Reagan Democrats) aren't going to hold their nose for the GOP nominee.
Bashing the candidate & his supporters whom votes you'll need in the general election. Brilliant political strategy there, simply brilliant.
To: wolfcreek
Shoot yourself?
No, don’t do that!
Why that would be worse than voting for Ron Paul.
Wait.
Strike that. Go ahead and shoot.
