ABC claims to have the transcript, and he criticizes the Democrats for not stopping the war in Iraq. I thought they said that he wanted us there.
He says to the American people, "you made one of your greatest mistakes, in that you neither brought to account nor punished those who waged this war, not even the most violent of its murderers, [former Defense Secretary Donald] Rumsfeld ""You permitted Bush to complete his first term, and stranger still, chose him for a second term, which gave him a clear mandate from you -- with your full knowledge and consent -- to continue to murder our people in Iraq and Afghanistan. Then you claim to be innocent! The innocence of yours is like my innocence of the blood of your sons on the 11th -- were I to claim such a thing."
Bin Laden says President Bush's words echo "neoconservatives like Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Richard Perle."
"People of America: the world is following your news in regards to your invasion of Iraq, for people have recently come to know that, after several years of tragedies of this war, the vast majority of you want it stopped. Thus, you elected the Democratic Party for this purpose, but the Democrats haven't made a move worth mentioning. On the contrary, they continue to agree to the spending of tens of billions to continue the killing and war there."

I read it as "were I to claim such a thing..." (were I to claim that I was innocent of the 9/11 attacks).
This video references things that happened up to this year. Has anyone in a position of goverment authority questioned the authenticity of the tape or the identity of the person on the tape yet?

Odder yet! ABC got a hold of it before both!
Sure about that? As for ABC, they seem to get a lot of this stuff early. Might be because Richard Clarke is on their staff.
Always seems as though Brian Ross has the scoop on everybody. He also seems to break stories about our secret programs. That said, it is not out of the realm of possibility that Clarke is feeding him classified info. Wouldn't put it past Clarke! He (Clarke) has so much disdain for President Bush, he'll do anything to hurt the President and this country!
He sounds like your aveage Democrat to me.
Liberals are no longer Americans.
And I plan to spend the rest of my life reminding everyone of that fact.
We all should make that vow.
He sounds like your average Democrat to me.
He concluded "It's as if they wrote Osama Bin Ladin's speech -- or vice versa!"
I agree.
I was thinking more that Clarke has an “in” with the intel community, he gets first look as a favor.
OBL: “Become a terrorist. The taxes are lower.”
UBL was clearly courting the naive Lefties.
ROFL!
...and noticed that the clothes and 'hat' he's wearing are exactly the same as he wore in 2004:
...it didn't appear to be the 'real' osama then:
methinks his beard has been coloured on the 'new' video...and the voice is dubbed?
Maybe Al Queida and Moveon.org will merge for simplicity sake.
Well, we might as well start perceiving the Michael Moore's, Nancy Pelosi's and Cindy Sheehan's as the 'Moderate Muslims' living amongst us within America. I suspect the main reason the extremists radical Muslims target these 'Moderate Muslims' is due to the fact that they make themselves such easy targets. All you have to do is slam capitalism, corporatism and neoconism, and you will have the leftist moonbats eating out of your hand.
I don’t think that Osama will ever win since he so utterly doesn’t understand the American political system. He seems to think the Democrats have the power to punish Rumsfeld (other than to encourage public opinion against him). OBL does not understand that the President has the power to veto whatever comes out of Congress, and the Dems do not have a veto proof majority in either house.
Regarding the black beard, rather than the former gray one. I doubt he is becoming younger and healthier. I suspect he dyed it so he would not look like himself when trying to travel around Pakistan from one hiding place to another.
