As a political party, the Democrats sure make lousy psychics.
You may recall Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's famous utterance that the surge was a "failure" even before half the additional troops earmarked for Iraq had arrived. Now the Democrats have turned their powers of prognositication on the report to be delivered by General Petraus next week before Congress and are already dismissing it as unreliable despite the fact they haven't heard or seen it:

If Fox would show the Petraeus Report being presented LIVE, I’d watch their coverage and so would alot of other people. They need to put this on PRIME TIME and let the American People decide for themselves who is telling the truth and who is playing politics and power grabbing!
The Politics of Personal Destruction is all that they know. A Victory for America and Iraq will be the Destruction of the DNC.
Pray for W and Our Troops
This was being set up last night, at least on NBC by Brian Willaims. He was touting a pre-report report by some independent that was "slamming" the Bush administration by saying that, due to the state of Iraq security (which is bad) US troops can't start to withdraw for 12 to 18 months...
...which also happens to be EXACTLY the earliest the Bush administration anticipated.
"You see," they are going to say, "until we made Bush put in the right number of troops, we were losing. Now we are winning and can leave with honor." They knew the surge was working weeks ago, and have been quietly dropping the "anti-war" crapola they were betting on.
If the RNC had half-a-brain,they would PAY to publicize the Petraeus report, and start boosting the general as a viable candidate, instead of this maladroit collection of tit-men dressing up in grown-up clothing and pretending to be candidates.
Of cource, I except MY candidate, Duncan Hunter, but to be horribly frank about it, he hasn't shown all that well, numbers-wise.
No surprise here. They wouldn’t accept such a report from Jesus Christ. But one day they will. Every knee shall bow...
I agree. Unfortunately the Democratic Party is the Party of the Stupid. Most Democrats won’t watch it either because they don’t care, don’t want to hear good news or they harbor an infantile and seething hatred of Fox News. In all cases they will remain uninformed.
What’s new? Thus the nickname the “dims”. They can’t see past blind ambition!

Prior to the Clinton misAdministration the Dem/Libs/Socialists were much more subtle with their creative dissent tactics. They are blatant with their Socialist agenda since.
This is called “willful ignorance”. If all else fails, clap hands over ears, dance from one foot to the other, all the while ululating “LA-LA-LA-LA!”
Not gonna infect them with no facts, NO-SIREE-BOB!
Sheeple is an understatement, I'm dumbfounded to find the correct term.
Hmmm, that gives me an idea...maybe if we convince Pelosi and the rest of the ‘Rats that we’re in Iraq to administer veryveryvery late term abortions, she’d be all for our presence there?
At Heading Right, I look at the sudden use of the phrase “the Bush report” in describing Petraeus’ testimony, and how it seeks to undermine the integrity of this career officer for the political expediency of the anti-war Democrats. Of particular note is the fact that the same Senators who didn’t cast a single vote against this highly-regarded commander taking over the effort in Iraq suddenly feel that Petraeus would conspire with George Bush to deliver a dishonest report to Congress. Which is more likely — that a career commander would deliberately lie about events in Iraq that already have garnered plenty of independent evidence for success, or that Dick Durbin and Harry Reid would smear the military for their own political gain?
Yes, that’s a rhetorical question.

Well, if that’s the case, General Petraus should just skip the Congress and deliver the report from the Pentagon or the WH briefing room.
Not surprising...the Dems are so desparate for surrender that they’ll say we’ve lost even before we’ve finished.
