He has gathered a few critics for playing the game differently, but I think he still stands out unique. Hell be on Leno tonight and announce on his website. Here is the video of his first ad which will air during the Republican debate he is missing for Leno. Watch Video Here.

Okay, so we have an actor whose head bobbing is amateurish, a “conservative” who wrote the unconstitutional McCain/Feingold/Thompson, but you’re supporting him anyway because...he’s plays a conservative on TV, but can’t act?

He upped his workouts from three times a week to every day to get in tip top shape. He has lost weight as a result.

The man is 65 years old. He ain’t no kid. But he sure has the conservative credentials to back up his politics with.
We conservatives wanted an alternative closer to our own principles, beliefs, values and convictions. A candidate unlike Rooty, Mitt or McCain. Well, Fred has stepped forward. Now its time to start paying attention. We can accept his candidacy and hopefully support his efforts in the long run, or we hand the GOP over to the liberals and moderates —— AKA. the Rockefeller Republicans. I’d rather fight to unite the GOP behind a conservative candidate like Fred Thompson. The last thing the GOP needs, the last thing America needs is another liberal in the WH. We need to send Rooty packing, ASAP.

most of us are distracted by McCain/Feingold/Thompson Why are you so obsessed over something that never made it into law? I mean, there was a McCain/Feingold that passed, but the earlier McCain/Feingold/Thompson never did.

He looks good! And sounds terrific, the “bobbing” that some are complaining about is a manner of speech/communication emphasis. Fred is talking straight to the public, indicating that what he talks about and says is serious business.
A good first teaser ad. Much more to come and it’s just around the corner!

I’m very happy to say, I disagree with your silly rhetoric.
Guess you think Rooty, Mitt or McCain are better alternatives to Fred. Whatever. Carry on.

Not necessarily rude. It appears Fred doesn't want to have his message caught up in the fog of so many soundbites the 'debates' have to offer.
In April I said Fred's would be a very different kind of campaign from the past. This is only another indication of that perspective.
Fred will NOT be campaigning the same way as all the rest have done. Look for even more of his message being brought to you by the Internet, and almost daily if I am not mistaken.

As I've said all along, we will probably end up choosing either Fred or Mitt to stop the leftwing mayor. We should hopefully pick the one with the best chance of beating Hitlery and implementing the strongest small-government culturally-conservative president we can. And to finish overturning the Warren Court. A couple of those liberal Justices can't hold out through 20012, I think.

Oh, because nobody but the detractors candidates are ever allowed to make a mistake, nor change their mind about an issue. There is no maturing, no contemplation and adjustment of opinion allowed.
Constant perfection (unrealistic as that is in terms of human beings) is what is demanded by detractors.
A standard their own candidates and they themselves fall far short of, naturally.

a conservative who wrote the unconstitutional McCain/Feingold/Thompson See above about your fraudulent use of Thompson's name in regard to the bill that passed.
Next, let's address this little lie. Thompson did not write McCain/Feingold -- he was responsible, however, for one of the few good things in that bill: raising the maximum individual contribution limit and indexing it to inflation.

He is definitely a head bobber. The way he does that reminds me of a news anchor. I think he should tone that down a little.
