He has gathered a few critics for playing the game differently, but I think he still stands out unique. Hell be on Leno tonight and announce on his website. Here is the video of his first ad which will air during the Republican debate he is missing for Leno. Watch Video Here.

Paraphrasing...the next President will make decisions that will affect us long into the future. We can't afford to go wobbly - millions around the world depend on the resolve of the American people. See me tomorrow for details....
What so strange about that?

It was accurate.
He hit a base hit and could have maybe made it a triple.

He is definitely a head bobber. The way he does that reminds me of a news anchor. I think he should tone that down a little.

Im sure Ill be flamed for saying this (sigh! Im not looking for conflict, really) but I have to say that Thompsons missing the debate AND airing an ad during the debate just seems like rude and ugly behavior. I dont like it.
I put it in the “I paid for this microphone” category.
Skip the silly show (not a debate) and speak to the people.

Nothing strange about Fred`s first foray into political advertising for president.
The nincompoops just need an outlet for their shortcomings.

I believe he just pushed the ‘tease’ to its limit with this.
Not saying its a bad thing, just noting it for what it is.
Time to put up, Fred.
Or shut up.
I’ll be watching.

Is there a debate coming up? Between whom? (That is what 97% of Americans are asking right)

...or he could have struck out looking. There is nothing wrong with a base hit.

Thompson’s missing the debate AND airing an ad during the debate just seems like rude and ugly behavior. I don’t like it. I think it's rude and ugly behavior for the other candidates to hold a debate during Fred's ad. I don't like it!

Of course it is but I find it strange to do so in his first ad, the American people are more concerned about America then the rest of the world.
