He has gathered a few critics for playing the game differently, but I think he still stands out unique. Hell be on Leno tonight and announce on his website. Here is the video of his first ad which will air during the Republican debate he is missing for Leno. Watch Video Here.

He said that if Thomson wants to run for the GOP nomination, there is no medical reason he could not, and Thompson would be medically fit to serve as president.

Great start. Short, sweet, straightforward and genuine. I distrust too much flash in ads (kissing babies, patting puppies, stupid metaphors showing the candidate rock-climbing/running hurdles/sword-fighting), so I’m glad to see that Thompson isn’t going that route for his kick-off.
He’s certainly making a splash with his activities this week — NPR has been running teasers all day for a segment where they interview republicans about Thompson. I’m sure they will include nagatives (since it is NPR, after all). But he’s getting the wall-to-wall coverage that his campaign is aiming for with this.

I appreciate that you follow my posts.
I like the one you quoted, too. It explains why no one has been able to cite a single post I've made on this thread that is an example of an ad hominem attack. Certainly, I've made some observations, but nothing like the name calling that others in this thread have resorted to.

Fred was referring to the war against terror (as in Iraq/Iran/Syria, etc.), when he said: “the fate of millions across the world depends on the unity and resolve of the American people.”

He said that if Thomson wants to run for the GOP nomination, there is no medical reason he could not, and Thompson would be medically fit to serve as president. Yeah, he did. But Dr. Petronski pronounced Thompson fine, with a clean bill of health, which is a far cry from merely being medically fit to serve with a probable recurrence.
To: Petronski
I was being obtuse in response to this post?
"It wasn't too long ago you repeatedly referred to Thompson as "NearlyDeadMcFred," so don't try giving anyone the babe-in-the-woods routine."

No I did not.
The doctor did. I never said I was quoting him.

I agree: too much head bobbing. He’s still my favorite candidate so far. Will he announce on Jay, and tell everyone to head to his website tomorrow for more details??
I figure at around 4:30 we will hear what he says on Jay. That’s when people leaked the news to John and Ken about Ahnold’s announcing.

You win the award for the most ironic post of the day (even more ironic when you mocked someone’s intelligence by calling him a ‘genious’).

The doctor did. I never said I was quoting him. You weren't quoting, or even paraphrasing. You were projecting the Dr.'s description of Thompson as medically fit to be clean bill of health, which it isn't.
Then, when I point out your error, you call me a ghoul. Am I still a ghoul?

You were projecting the Dr.'s description of Thompson as medically fit to be clean bill of health...Why don't you just point out where I did that.
Am I still a ghoul?
Absolutely.

I am a big Fred fan, but all that head bobbing was strange.
To: Politicalmom
Yeah, but there are a lot of funnel cakes out there on the campaign trail. A guy’s gotta keep ahead of them.

I know that, might as well throw Israel on the list. You are missing my point, if I have to explain it again the cat dies.

You win the award for the most ironic post of the day (even more ironic when you mocked someones intelligence by calling him a genious). I love it when you broadcast your own obtuseness all while calling others "obtuse."

showing the candidate rock-climbing/running hurdles/sword-fighting),One thing about it, I think we can bank on Fred not wind surfing.
And not calling his Secret Service guard an SOB because he fell on his skis.
