And heck, I don't even wanna look at the FRFL. I had P11, P19, P21, and P30---another 200 point week. :-((
Off to the Chase.....this could be an interesting year.
See ya'll next week!!!!!
Breaking News from Tony Jr on Hotpass. He said “I ain’t gonna say it’s sabotage.” I’m not sure if he means it isn’t or he’s not gonna say. He also said that kid drove his butt off and hes a champion in my book even if he never wins one...
Yeah, I think that was one of the stipulations, but I don’t understand how they calculate that yet. Thanks.
Now that hurts... ;(
Now THAT IS INTERESTING.........Maybe Teresa really has a remote control on that motor.
Thanks for hosting the thread, WCG! It’s been fun again. On to the chase...
Good night, everyone.
I got butter on the mouse, and steak sauce on the space bar doing it.
I hope you think it was worth it.
it was pathetic how he was the main focus of the entire race....
nothing against him because he seems like a nice young man but this ridiculous hype every week makes me root more and more for any driver BUT Jr....
Hate to say this because I am a Jr. fan. But wonder if anyone has suspected his driving technque that wears motors out?
me neither, with 20 laps to go Harvick was in the Chase, and it happened earlier in the race with Kurt Busch...no clue, I just go with it, lol!
That’s unfair, It’s not his fault..... blame ABC, Rusty or whomever....he’s just racing with everything he’s got because he’s a racer.
It’s in his genes....he does it for his fans, not to make you dislike him.
I kinda understand it... he’s not in the chase, so tonight’s his last hurrah. He’s the crowd’s fave. It’s okay.
OTOH, Tony Stewart is in third in standings. That’s who I’m rootin for.
it was because of whether or not he’d make the
Chase. It’s usually been the ‘Jimmy-Johnson’ Show or the ever constant “JuanPabloMontoya”..never just Montoya, gotta say all three parts.
well said!
It could be gear ratios but unless he was down shifting I doubt it’s his fault this time. It could also be too lean a fuel mixture...
I said I don’t blame him.....he has got to be pretty embarressed that his name was mentioned in every other word or so it seems with 50 laps to go.......it was almost like KevinH. was a nobody and didn’t matter....
maybe what should happen is as the season wears on, the point totals go up exponetially to reflex the drivers doing the best as the entire season ends...that way, every driver has a chance at the championship or a least something to try for.....
why limit it to 12 drivers?....think of all the great drivers left out, including Jr.
why all the emphasis on Junior?
Junior was about the only driver left who had a reasonable chance to make the cup with some good luck.. most in the top 12 were guaranteed a pass oncluding Happy if he ran reasonably well and finished..
as a rule , I don’t like the bickering over drivers based on popularity alone,, but..
sometimes, the easiest thing is to just change the channel if what you are watching or listening too is a bit much.
I have come to treat nascar and its product as so much chopped liver the last few years, with so many changes and controversies and now, CoT,, it’s a slap in the face of the drivers and fans what hand they are dealt with nadscar calling the shots... in the end, the fans pay, and still sufffer.. that’s the business today, that’s why so much Junior today.. :-)
Personally, I wish he had made it in..
I say make it the top 20 not 12. That's all the good teams/drivers there are anyway.
