ABC...’bout time!
Good news on Brad K, aka Special L.... he is cleared to race at Richmond per Claire B.
He said both Jr and Rick Hendrick came to the infield care center to see him.
The car was much more damaged than any other car, so Nascar inspected it and also came to JRM today to check it again.
The tubing under his floorboard gave way and pushed the clutch up into his left foot. Also other tubing not involved in the hit was broken. The outer casing on the tranny was broken.
Brad said he likes his seat tight so he can't move his head at all in the car, he uses his mirrors. His legs are tight in the car with padding between them. It's a miracle he wasn't injured.
Thread looks great!
btw, the Dale movie that’s on CMT tonight, is this the latest one that was playing wherever the races were this year?
Thanks.......Yes this is the one - the pre-show is on in 15 minutes.
Gonna miss this one. We’ll be at The Altamont Raceway watching our daughter and sil racing in the formula four event. Both going for the checkered flag.
The 88 Navy Busch car will be a Hendrick car this next week.
Now hush so I can hear the TV!
LOL.
saw the earlier post....recording both.
Thanks!
That is SLICK!
I love the story they told about him being two laps down at Charlotte with 38 to go so Brooks ? or Dunn get’s in the car to go home thinking he has no chance and hears on the radio he wins the race. LOL He was supposed to meet him in the winners circle.
It’s going to seem like a short week...
And my two boys and I will be at the race. I would like to get tickets for the new balcony, but we will settle for turn one.
We always buy at the track. I have a friend with a corporate box, and I never know if I’ll be there until the last minute, so we just buy at the track from people holding up tickets. Pay face value or less. Never more.
Y’all come.
Hush now, :) Pass the kleenex.
I better hit the sack very early morning tomorrow.
That movie was happy and sad at the same time.
