HALL OF FAME #19 THE WEEKEND THREAD T.G.I.F. at the Finest |
Every Thursday at the Finest |
Hi (((Dita)))
I finally did get some sleep. Restless night. I’m a bit of a zombie today. LOL It’s a do nothing day anyway. I hope it’s not 100 again for you today. Oh boy. Enjoy your Labor Day and stay cool ;)!
hope you are feeling better Gee Bee
. I have been really rough for the whole summer. Bad allergies, fatigue, headaches.. Keep on plugging. Some men I know are in bed with a little headache. Woman are 20 minutes from dying & are still plugging along.
sigh
I remember when the war was over, I was a little girl and me and all my friends marched up and down the street, yelling the war is over, the war is over. We didn’t realize the real significance of it...we only knew our parents were happy and we were happy too! I do remember as a little girl, in my quiet time when trying to go to sleep, I would cry sometimes, thinking my daddy might have to go to war.....Little kids don’t understand, do they? I don’t think my parents ever knew that.....

Meg, I wasn’t on much last week as the closer our high school reunion gets, the more we have to do. I probablly won’t be on much this week either. We are having a catered picnic Friday evening at 5:00 and a dinner Sat.night at 6:00. Continental breakfast Sun. Morn. where some out of town classmates will be staying. I have a million things to do! Its fun but tedious. I would tell you which one it is, but then I would have to kill you! LOLOL~~~~~So if you don’t see me much, I am okay, just places to go, things to do. We have worked on this for 14 months! Whew~~~~Wish me luck!
Just darling, Dita!
