Is there no point at which decent people on the left draw the line against the extremists in their ranks?

Bill Kristol writes about the grotesque and offensive “die-in” being led by such far left groups as ANSWER and appropriating the names of American soldiers and Marines killed in action. It’s here.

Perhaps the most offensive of them, Brian DePalma's Redacted, is: "Inspired by one of the most serious crimes committed by American soldiers in Iraq since the 2003 invasion, it is a harrowing indictment of the conflict and spares the audience no brutality to get its message across.”
Pete Hegseth of Vets for Freedom says most Hollywood denizens appear to be woefully ignorant regarding “what American soldiers are actually doing in Iraq. At every opportunity, they use their celebrity status to bash the very soldiers and Marines who are fighting for them. And while I’m on the subject, Move America Forward has a caravan of pro-troop supporters kicking off a tour on Monday in Carson City, Nevada. Move America Forward welcomes persons of all political parties who support America’s troops and their missions in the war on terrorism.
Nevertheless, the Democratic party — on the national, state and local levels— is mobilizing against Move America Forward.

I wish your were right but the truth is the left made McCarthy the villan instead of themselves. They played the same game then as they are now. The left was never dead. McCarthy was active in the '40s and '50s and the big push by the left was in the sixties and continues until today.
The left has been strong in this country since the early part of last century and is getting stronger.

The true results of the pathologies of the Liberal necessitates their continual battles to “prove” that they are, were and always will be right. They (Libs) can not simply allow events to unfold and have average people make evaluations of the Lib positions based on the resulting realities of what really happens.
They know that the misery and tragedies resulting from their beliefs and actions must be continually be either ignored, redefined or reinvented. This is the real purpose of the current crop of movies.
Lib control of the majority of the media allows them to control the framework of the public debate, at least until the realities of the real world come crashing in at some point. Yes, the jihadists are “bad” people, but it is Buhitler that is keeping Libs from their rightful positions of power, so Bushitler is treated as their only real enemy. This is one of the Libs greatest dilemmas - They define their political enemies (at least those who keep them from power) as the greatest evil in the entire world, so when examples of true evil - like 9/11 - happen, their silly Bushitler “arguments” can be seen for the lightweight selfish narcissism it really is. So, they temporarily clamp down on their empty emotional rhetoric for fear of revealing their true selves to the general public. But only temporarily.
I keep waiting for that one event that will wake up and energize the American people and force them to look at the results of Lib policies and actions in spite of the Lib controlled media. How will the American public treat those who have tried to aggrandize themselves as saviors and heroes of the endless parade of supposed “victims” of society when the results of their actions are widely known?
And probably the worst part is they hold their "beliefs" not out of some deeply-help principles, but for fashion. They think their "beliefs" make them "cool."

The event is coming.But unfortunately nothing much will change from what it is now. The communists, Democrats,and media will blame it on the policies of ex-President Bush, Karl Rove,Christians, nd poverty and the American public, for the most part[at least 98%] will believe them.
From what I have seen and heard, I have come to the conclusion that most Americans no longer have the will or intelligence to live as a free people.
