I recall Craig as one of the ones we weren’t going to support anymore because of his ‘pro-illegal’ stance.

He should go for that reason alone.........shouldn’t he?

Yes! Frankly, I think the whole Senate should go. They're nothing but a bunch of arrogant, condescending elitists as far as I can tell.

What part of confessed guilt do you not understand?

It's you who don't understand that he did NOT plead guilty to lewdness; in fact he denied it over and over again in the interview.

He pled guilty to disorderly conduct because he was uncooperative with the officer.

Mark Levin said the GOP is under attack and we have to stand together.

The GOP has been plenty suicidal for the past two years. My contributions now = $0.00.

The cop would have to be lying, and that just doesnt make sense. You can tell from his voice that he’s sincere about what he’s saying while Craig isnt in the least bit outraged (by the charge) and sounds like he’s just trying to make up excuses.

Why would someone pick up a piece of toilet paper in another stall? Unless thats an excuse for him wiping his hand making a signal. It just sounds like an obvious lie. And the cop would have to be lying about his ring too.

Plus he just has “a wide stance” that causes his foot to be the whole way over in the other stall. lol Gimme a break. He’s making stuff up.

If Larry Craig refuses to resign, than I wonder if he’s being blackmailed to stay where he is?

He should have known better. If he needed “relief” that badly, there were many ways he could have done so discreetly. But he was seeking sex in a public place, where he could have been stumbled upon by innocent bystanders, including minors.

This should be up to Idaho, its their Senator, but....

And maybe this guy is gay, but......

After listening to the tape on Shep Smith on FNC this afternoon, I think, IMHO, that this Senator was railroaded by the cop....but.....

Its not up to me...but....

I think this whole thing stinks to high heaven, and is being used as a cover up for the Hillary got her hands dirty already again......

But that is just the point. Had he fought the charge, he would be exactly where he is right now, accused of being a pervert. With his hometown paper already gunning to make him a gay charge against him, I can almost see him quickly giving up 500 bucks to see the affair die.

Maybe he should be on stage!

I heard the cop's description and my conclusion is he was cruising. You can ignore that and you're entitled to your own opinion, as am I.

I am responding to you calling some stupid when you may be just naive. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Where is the statute that makes it illegal

The statutes say that if you plead guilty to a crime you are presumed to be guilty of the crime. But this is besides the point! The man is a political corpse. You can see the flesh disintegrate from his body. Maggots are crawling out of his eyes.

He's Dead, Jim! He's Dead!

Nothing can bring him back to life. I do not choose to jump into the grave alongside him.

Either he was caught trying to engage in public lewdness, or, Senator Craig, a professional lawmaker, is TOO STUPID to hire a lawyer to help defend him against false charges.

I've said this several times in the office this week. You win the prize.

My take is this, all it takes is for one liberal to learn about a perverted act by a republican politician, and we get caught off guard. Perverts are a liability to the party, unless we are willing to accept perversion as “normal”.

"I consider honor an issue and I would fight for mine. Why wouldn't Larry Craig fight for his? Why did he surrender like a p'tak and take it lying down? Someone who has honor will do all that is necessary to defend it."

While I am very skeptical of the law enforcement's allegations against him, those are some very good points and questions. I believe he may very well be innocent, but he should have never plead guilty just to get it out of the way. Of course, by listening to the tape, the cop made it sound like if he would only plead guilty it would be all over and forgotten about just by paying a fine. At the same time, the senator should have realized that in their line of work, especially having an 'R' in their job title, brings a different standard with the media and the public in general.

Those of you who pass judgement, on Larry Craig, merely on the heresay and liberal spin that has been run in the press, should be ashamed.

The degenerate was trolling for an anonymous homosexual liaison in public toilet.

He got caught.

The Stupid Party should toss his dumb ass overboard immediately.

This isn't some big liberal conspiracy because overall, there's not a dime's worth of difference between the parties.

Sting interrogations are by theri nature “setups”. But Craig fell into the trap for a reason. Smoke-fire.

Not true. The officer and him gnashed teeth a bit in that interview, but that is not the same as "disorderly conduct." LOL. Nice try, though.
