I read the transcript of the Larry Graig interview with the Minnesota police.
I don't like what I'm hearing from other conservatives. The liberals see a cheap Senate seat and you want to give it to them because a guy moved two fingers under the stall wall in an airport bathroom.
If they had the guy on tape asking for sex, paying for sex, or photographed in the act, or any other physical proof, then I would say that looks very very bad and he should go.
But that is not the case.
This is very lame, and those of you who have never had a disagreement with a law enforecement officer should hope that a cop never accuses you of something. Because by your own action, your professional career, and or political career, should be forit, merely on the word of the officer with no physical proof or corroborating evidence.
Those of you who pass judgement, on Larry Craig, merely on the heresay and liberal spin that has been run in the press, should be ashamed.
He’s either a perv and is thus unfit to serve in the Senate (except as a Democrat), or he’s an imbecile (for pleading guilty, and not getting a lawyer, when the Senate has top legal counsel to handle whatever legal issues Senators get themselves into) and is thus unfit to serve in the Senate (except as a Democrat).
He did not plead guilty to solicitation . The cops had nothing and pushed for whatever they could get.
Unfortunately Craig fell for it .
What a joke. Was it propoganda that made ole' Larry do the tappity tap in the toilet stall? Was it propoganda that made him peek at another man on a toilet? Was it propoganda when he claimed thatthe cop seduced him? Or was it propoganda when he went into court, without an attorney and pled guilty?

After thinking it over, I think what happened is Craig went to that restroom cruising, but he was determined not to commit any acts that would get him arrested. The cop might have initiated the signals, and when Craig either responded or didn’t object, out comes the badge.
Craig is stunned because he’s getting busted when he didn’t do anything that should trigger an arrest.
That would explain a lot of what I heard on that tape.

I wanted Clinton impeached and tossed in jail. But that does not mean I want to tolerate the Foleys/Craigs in party. It’s not his perversion, it’s his perversion in a public men’s room. He should resign. If not throw the idiot out. Just because the dems protect their vermin, doesn’t mean we should. They also lie through their teeth constantly. If a GOPer does so, I want him out.

I concur. After listening to this guys responses, one could only shake their head. How this guy got to be a Senator is a mystery.
The last statement in the interview was the arresting officer stating: "Embarrassing, no wonder were going down the tubes"

Another thing I am thinking of is that airport restrooms are some of the largest public restrooms anywhere. There are many, many stalls available... this is even true in women’s bathrooms, so must be even truer in men’s rooms.
Therefore, why would Craig need to stand in front of an occupied stall for two minutes, allegedly “waiting” for one to become available.
No, he was checking out the occupant and perhaps waiting for that specific stall to the left of Sgt. K to become vacant.

In time, the truth will come out,but not before this man has been beaten down with the full force of his opponents.
The Republicans need to have some investigating going on to reveal who/what is behind this. I bet this goes a lot deeper than a bathroom stall. Bet lots of “unidentified” sources will be in the “Statesman” investigation.
This story isn’t over, and I hope many more congressmen and women know they will be next.
