I read the transcript of the Larry Graig interview with the Minnesota police.
I don't like what I'm hearing from other conservatives. The liberals see a cheap Senate seat and you want to give it to them because a guy moved two fingers under the stall wall in an airport bathroom.
If they had the guy on tape asking for sex, paying for sex, or photographed in the act, or any other physical proof, then I would say that looks very very bad and he should go.
But that is not the case.
This is very lame, and those of you who have never had a disagreement with a law enforecement officer should hope that a cop never accuses you of something. Because by your own action, your professional career, and or political career, should be forit, merely on the word of the officer with no physical proof or corroborating evidence.
Those of you who pass judgement, on Larry Craig, merely on the heresay and liberal spin that has been run in the press, should be ashamed.

I’ll tell you why the entrapment defense won’t work. This particular bathroom was the object of a 4-month-long investigation that netted 39+ suspects seeking lewd homosexual liaisons. The investigation was prompted by complaints from the public. The behavior was already going on, no entrapment necessary. It has been said... don’t know if true .... this bathroom is advertised in the “gay world” for the possibility of encounters.
You know, some people claim entrapment when they are speeding dangerously or run the red light and get caught, but are the cops looking for that particular person...OR .... is that a known location where those dangerous activities occur?
Some citizens might be glad to know the public safety is being looked after.
So there is a tape of them in the bathroom? Could you please direct me to it?
That and Craig’s own voluntary GUILTY plea.
I’m going to keep posting this until people stop ignoring the fact he avoided trial because he was given the chance to plead guilty to a lesser charge. gee, wonder why he didn’t want to go to trial if he was so damn innocent?

The man signs a plea of guilt, while others demand he is innocent.

This is a clear example of a man with a guilty conscious -- so guilty that he plead to a different charge (disorderly conduct??) out of a desparate hope the "whole thing would go away", just like he said.
An innocent straight man would have IMMEDIATELY told police, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT .. DISORDERLY CONDUCT???"
An honest man would have called the media himself immediately and told every reporter in earshot that the Minneapolis police were trying to frame him.

I guess if you're going to believe that this was some sort of insidious plot by Democrats, I can't stop you. But sometimes it just is what it is. Sorry to break it to you, but there are guys out there who are married and have kids and good jobs and cruise public restrooms between flights, and even if caught in the very act would deny everything because in their minds they're that nice fella with the perfect family and the respectable career - not some degenerate looking for a BJ in a bathroom stall.
What exactly is your point?
