We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.
1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.
Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.
Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.

LOL! I was that way when I went “home” for my class reunion! I never saw a TV or a computer while I was gone!

Dial-up is still the only thing available at Dad’s place - except for very pricey satellite setups, and he’s cheap. ;-) So I’ll be going through Internet withdrawal, for sure!
But it should give me some time to read and write, in addition to hanging out and checking out the places I’ve missed. It’ll be good for me...

Yah, I liked the “non-electronic” world I was in, too.
I took along sme CD’s and a Discman, but never used them. The radio in my truck doesn’t work, so I made most of the trip in silence. It was good, though.

I’m mostly just worried about the traveling part. I despise airports and the hurry-up-and-wait of plane travel. :-(
