I definitely lost my ability to be bothered, shocked or amazed by the depth at which some of the greatest Western news agencies and media outlets are prepared to sink in their support to the enemies of their own civilization, last year almost to the day, when Reuters and its stringers cast smoke on Lebanon, and produced some of Hezbollywood's greatest blockbusters.

It's definitely a KEEPER! Ya know, when the Reuters article was first published (was it Reuters?), I was reading it here and laughed out loud. Sweetie was behind me several feet away and she asked me what I was laughing at. I scooted to one side so she could see the monitor and she read it and looked at the photo and said, "Well...I guess somebody could have THROWN it at her because they're LIVE rounds!
All proper Southern Girls know live rounds when they see them. :-)

That is right up there with the Reuters pic of a Russian Artillery Round (unfired) being called a remnant of a U.S. missle with two Afghani villagers poised by it.

It looks like the round was fired, look at the gas band. Those look like rifling marks. Could have been an armor piercing round that hit something soft.

No, the point was quite different: here is the article that exposed the NYT. They indicated this picture was evidence of a U.S. missile strike, and when the obvious disparity was pointed out to them, they indicated the French News Agency had mis-labelled the picture. The huge omission was the New York Times editorial board not being able to recognize the difference between a shell and a missile fragment.
The picture isn’t in the article, but you saw the picture in the prior post.

Grab a cup of your favorite beverage, sit back, and enjoy this bit of silliness.
I don't know, tho' -- this might still be more than your average leftmedia "journalist" can comprehend.

You are probably using very high-velocity ammo. Science has proven that beyond 4,000 FPS, bullets pass between the paper fibers without disturbing them.

I expect only a camera and tripod were covered with the muzzle.
No foul. Though I will admit, it is a tad disconcerting.
