How is it that Ramos and Compean are in jail and this turkey is still on the job?
I wonder who’s paying him. Calderon?

Sad to say, but that is the de facto policy of the administration. This guy was too honest and admitted it in public.

stated by an employee with too much job security comfort.
Well he should be an albatross around his bosses neck.

“””The Border Patrol’s mission is to stop terrorists and terrorist weapons from entering the country.””
OPINION:
AND... it is your job to stop narcotics (which has proven to contribute to terrorist financing) and illegal aliens (because some of them may be terrorists).
I sincerely hope the Border Patrol Cheif’s words were taken out of context. If they weren’t; then Chief, step down now.

It seems to me a latino running the boarder patrol is like having a Muslim run Gitmo.

Something is not right about his thought process if the article is accurate.
I really hope there is a transcript somewhere of his statement in its entirety.

Well, I just visited the official United States Customs and Border Protection website, and it appears at first glance that he is correct. Lots of stuff about stopping terrorism, nothing about immigration. Sounds like he is just following orders, and the person who needs to be fired is well above him.

David Aguilar, head of the Border Patrol, defended Mr. Carrillo and said his comments were taken out of context. "Our mission is to protect our country's borders from all threats," Mr. Aguilar said. "Our highest priority is keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons from entering our country. "We have never, nor will we ever, decrease or minimize our aggressive efforts in enforcing the rule of law." Dude, Carillo didn't say that terrorists are the highest priority. He said they are the ONLY priority. Which means he did say that the Border Patrol does not enforce immigration and drug laws. Context has nuttin' to do with it.
Maybe you oughta resign too, Aguilar. This isn't the first time you have been a jerk.
