Many of you know that I help organize the Duncan Hunter "meetup" group(s). I decided to peek in at the "competition" and found it very interesting that Ron Paul supporters are being urged to attend the MoveOn.org rally....

I post this because I know there are a lot of folks on FR that support Ron Paul.. I just wonder if you are participating in this effort.. or what you think about this whole business of catering to MoveOn.org
.... quote from an active Ron Paul supporter
Somebody posted a thread concerning moveon, and letting their members know about Ron Paul. As a member of moveon.org, I received today an invitation to create an anti-war rally on August 28th. They will be doing rallies all across the nation on that day. We should invade this event. During the rally, bring anti-war stickers, signs, and flags -- and also Ron Paul signs. Introduce moveon members to Ron Paul, the REAL anti-war candidate! Anti-war people will ask about Ron Paul and be introduced to him on that day. Don't be rude, just gently introduce people to the peace candidate. Moveon.org is well cordinated, so if enough of our people show up at their rallies, we might be able to convert a huge number of people.
I have already created a moveon.org anti-war rally, on the 28th at 7pm, right outisde of the West Covina Mall. Please, everybody who can in this group, COME. It's on the corner of Vincent and Plaza Drive in West Covina.

Sorry I’m not going to watch. Private savings accounts basically?
You probably tout “5 million watched the Ron Paul video!” “Smashes other video competition!”
Either he is a constitutionalist or he will have to lie to get elected by a majority of the American public.
“Either he is a constitutionalist or he will have to lie to get elected by a majority of the American public.”
This one’s easy — he’s a constitutionalist.
Good luck with that.
Good Luck with that”
Thanks. We’re having great luck with that. Take a look at our straw poll success: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/straw-poll-results/
"rudy the rino" and/or "mr. romney" (should either/both be nominated)will cause me to "go fishing" on election day.
fyi, i will NOT be alone on the creek-bank.
NO candidate except a strong CONSERVATIVE can carry dixie. w/o dixie, NO G.O.P. candidate can WIN!!!

Just verifying, yes.
From 2004:

Indymedia.org team in merger talks with CBS/Viacom
George Soros, CEO of Indymedia.org ltd has begun merger talks with the CBS/Viacom News Network to help bring together the Vibrant Staff of the Independant News Network with the resources and Global Consumer Reach of the CBS news network. This follows a meeting of the IMC Board of Directors and key Indymedia shareholders where it was decided that Indymedia needed to branch out from its traditional Liberal readership demographic to encompass more mainstream news interests and readerships....

I am happy to inform you that Ron Paul is a strong, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-family, pro-taxpayer, small government constitutionalist conservative. Just take a look at his strong record and positions on the issues: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/
Oh well...
Hard core conservatives account for about 33%, the middle consists of roughly 33%, the left consists of 33%.
You want me to believe that running on seriously reducing government will get a majority of the electoral votes for president? 60% of the population gets some sort of government payment during their lives.
How easy will this be to demonize in the final legs of the election? How will you be heard over the screaming media to get the message out that there is a better way?

History is history.
Voting lesson #1...
Voting third party or not voting instead of voting Republican will get you lots of pro abortion communist Democrats in power.
I don’t really think that it is debatable after the lesson of Ross Perot.
I don’t want to see Rudy as the Republican and we won’t get probably anyone else but Fred.
I am very pro conservative and am conservative.
I also have a brain, so I have yet heard the reasonable, logical or an intelligent argument for throwing away votes down third party holes or not voting when that benefits the communist/socialist abortion loving democrats like Hillary.
People can claim conservatism, religion and what ever, but if their stupidity surrounding their vote gets or keeps Democrats in power, what value is their believes if they talk big time conservatism and are getting big time Democrats elected all the time?
Even a broken clock might get it right twice a day, that is more than I can say of some voters.
This forum has been taken off the breaking news section of the main page.
Not in the opinion of sportsbook.com, where Ron Paul is listed as having 8-1 odds for the presidency.

He runs as a Republican, that is true, but he will not be the won who wins the primaries.
At that point the libertarian leaning folks start to do the voting down the black hole behavior.
I seemed to have read it here on FR every election as they try to recruit others to do the same here.
