Many of you know that I help organize the Duncan Hunter "meetup" group(s). I decided to peek in at the "competition" and found it very interesting that Ron Paul supporters are being urged to attend the MoveOn.org rally....

I post this because I know there are a lot of folks on FR that support Ron Paul.. I just wonder if you are participating in this effort.. or what you think about this whole business of catering to MoveOn.org

You can’t control people, and who they support. If you can only be interviewd by people who agree with you on everything, you would never be able to say anything. Ron Paul does not agree with Alex Jones about the conspiracy theories.

I do NOT prefer Rudy, but did he also make a recent statement that he is for Open Borders?
HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don’t have that in place. It will be a little bit better now with the Democrats now in charge of oversight. But you know, for top level policy there’s not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn’t going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.

What does “aspirations of citizenship” mean for ILLEGALS other than OPEN BORDERS?
Rudy is unelectable as a Republican and Thompson will lose some of his luster when his record has been exposed to sunlight.
I don’t know that Fred has that bad a record. The attempts to connect him to unpopular positions so far have had to be manipulated to large degrees to get accusations even out.
I think it will be between Fred and Rudy.
