If it is Rudy against Hillary, he will do well, but I’d rather have Fred.

I don’t know that Fred has that bad a record. The attempts to connect him to unpopular positions so far have had to be manipulated to large degrees to get accusations even out.

I think it will be between Fred and Rudy.

If it’s Rudy against Hillary, I will sit out the election. You would be surprised how many others would do the same thing. That is why he is unelectable. I am not too worried, tho, because his level of support within the Republican party is about as high as it’s going to get.

As far as Fred, I would vote for him, just not very enthusiastically. So far, the media has investigated very little about him. Mostly softball interviews, no tough questions. At some point, he is going to have to answer for every vote and position he has made or taken. From campaign finance reform, illegal alien stands, questions about past and present abortion positions and well, everything else he has been involved with. Maybe not enough that would sink him, but enough for people to question his qualifications. Personally, I don’t consider him a conservative but many do. If he is elected, I guess we will all find out the answer to that question and I hope I am the wrong on that one.
