Voices on War (D.C. Chapter Featured)

WASHINGTON—On Oct. 7, 2001, the United States launched Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Four-hundred twenty-three U.S. troops have died in the conflict as of Aug. 23, 2007.

Nearly 1500 have been wounded.

Operation Iraqi Freedom began less than two years later when a largely American and British force invaded Iraq to topple then-dictator Saddam Hussein.

Hussein was captured on Dec. 13, 2003, but nearly four years later, the United States military remains a major presence in Iraq.

To date, 3,706 U.S. casualties have been reported as a result of the continuing operation. And more than 27,000 troops have been wounded.

“The ideals and interests that led America to help the Japanese turn defeat into democracy are the same that lead us to remain engaged in Afghanistan and Iraq,” President Bush has said of his resolve to continue the conflicts.

But the American public is conflicted. Trang Do reports from Washington.

It seems my first instincts about this “media” gal’s loyalties were correct when she showed up on our corner that day.

.

I will NEVER FORGET witnessing in person an April 2003 BUSH Letter being read aloud to over 1,000 Freedom-loving Little Saigon Vietnamese-Americans who were selflessly demonstrating in praise of his bringing Freedom to the people of Iraq & Aghanistan.

This BUSH Letter promised...

Freedom’s return to:

Communist North Korea
Communist Vietnam
Communist Cuba

..as well as..

Freedom’s arrival to:

All the countries of the Middle East

...as America’s own best self-defense against future terrorist attacks here at home.

For BUSH understands that the one thing The LOVE Itself needs more of in this world, for GOD is LOVE,

...is more LOVE.

And that only comes when people are...

...Free.

Nothing biased here!

I get so sick of reading “stuff” (or another “s” word) like this. Thank goodness for the Internet, some publishing sources, and talk radio!

On March 23, 2003 we Freedom-loving Freepers were also busy selflessly demonstrating, just for the LOVE of it, in support of BUSH bringing Freedom to Iraq that very week.

We were demonstrating right across the street from the 2003 OSCARS, despite putting ourselves under threat of a possible terrorist attack there in the process:

.

‘Many come out to show war support across land’

http://www.post-gazette.com/nation/20030324antiwar0324p7.asp

.

The Democrat Party’s official DNC response to the Media was to lyingly proclaim that we domonstrators were being paid directly by the Republican Party to demonstrate.

NEVER FORGET the Motto of Freedom’s Enemies is:

‘BLACK is WHITE, WHITE is BLACK’

.

Still.

At least the pinko admitted their numbers were down to two. Guess she didn’t have much choice that day - only two showed up.

Trust me: they have never had 100, as she claimed. We have been across from them every week from the first. We count them, and record and publish the numbers every week.

I never credited her with complete honesty!
I’ve been following closely, and there are always the mandatory pictures of their motley collection of pinkos.
