Warming: As protesters pose sans clothing on an Alpine glacier, a new study documents how puny man's effect on climate is and how futile are attempts to change it.
Hundreds of people recently posed naked on Switzerland's Aletsch glacier as part of a Greenpeace campaign to raise awareness of global warming. SUVs are said to be causing the Aletsch and other glaciers to recede. But glaciers historically have advanced and receded, like the ones that gouged out the Great Lakes before they, too, receded without human intervention.
A new study accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed Journal of Geophysical Letters debunks the greenies' climate hysteria and the political pretext for draconian restrictions on our economy that have become so popular with environmentalists and grandstanding politicians.

If you want people to take your cause seriously, take off your clothes.
That it does:
Belching moose add to global warming
Wed Aug 22, 3:12 PM ET
OSLO (AFP) - A grown moose belches out methane gas equivalent to 2,100 kilograms (4,630 pounds) of carbon dioxide a year, contributing to global warming, Norwegian researchers said Wednesday.

No AP, you left out a step -- take off your clothes and THEN light yourself on fire.
For the dedicated greenie, its the only way to be sure that your seriousness shows. That also applies to gun-grabbers, pro-choicers, the gay advocacy crowd, and the anti war activists, too. Nothing says "my cause is worthwhile" like self-immolation, folks.
;-)
A Møøse once bit my sister...
Yeah, zackly! LOL!
I don't much care what people do, but I get really turned off by hidden agendas, dishonesty, manipulation, and stupidity.
Where the hell is the picture!!! Darn it, don’t you know men are visual? Wait, I gotta chase a damn Canadian moose away from my sister.
Our being able to stop global warming or reduce it is about as futile as them people long ago who performed human sacrafice to the gods hoping it would bring rain.
Bullwinkle at it again?!
Heres the abstract of "Heat Capacity, Time Constant, and Sensitivity of Earth's Climate System."

and heres what the author of that paper, Stephen E. Schwartz actually thinks about the reality of AGW, from a June 2007 article in Nature: Heres Quantifying climate change too rosy a picture?: he doesnt just think AGW is a problem, he thinks is an urgent problem:
The century-long lifetime of atmospheric CO2 and the anticipated future decline in atmospheric aerosols mean that greenhouse gases will inevitably emerge as the dominant forcing of climate change, and in the absence of a draconian reduction in emissions, this forcing will be large. Such dominance can be seen, for example, in estimates from the third IPCC report of projected total forcing in 2100 for various emissions scenarios as shown at the bottom of Fig. 1 Depending on which future emissions scenario prevails, the projected forcing is 4 to 9 W m-2. This is comparable to forcings estimated for major climatic shifts, such as that for the end of the last ice age. Developing effective strategies, both to limit emissions of CO2 and to adapt to the inevitable changes in global climate will depend on climate sensitivity. The magnitude of forcing anticipated in 2100 thus highlights the urgency of reducing uncertainty in Earth's climate sensitivity.

Three. The rest of them were hitting on each other.
“Hundreds of people recently posed naked on Switzerland’s Aletsch glacier”
Too bad there wasn’t a water canon handy ;)
LOL
It is this crowd; who has the faulty and fraudulent eyesight. . .and who when confronted with the truth; insist on dressing it up, their way.
They are their own worst metaphor.
How much energy did it take to get these people to the glacier?
Great Observation! Yes. It's a religion for them.
