GASTONIA, N.C. -- Police in Gaston County say an illegal immigrant kidnapped and tried to sexually assault two little girls Saturday.
They say Ramon Zamora-Solano, 41, told the girls to come into his apartment in Gastonia. The 6- and 5-year-old girls were playing outside at a birthday party on Duhart Avenue. Police say the girls said no, and Zamora-Solano hit them and dragged them into the apartment by their hair before locking the door.

Thank you !I needed that reminder! Davey, Barbara and Dianne will be hearing from me tomorrow!
Two ropes; one noose for each head.
Wanting to spare FR any accusations of hate speech, Iâll violate my own rights by self imposed censorship. Having, as a very young girl as these, experienced such treatment, I can assure Bill OâReilly he, nor anyone else, has every read anything on Free Republic that could come close to the hate speech I am withholding.
You are correct. NC is a total haven for illegals. When Ga. started their tough anti illegal programs a TV reporter asked the illegals where they would move to now...’NORTH CAROLINA’ was the answer.
The problem is totally out of control in my state. Welfare bennies are pouring into the pockets of illegals....and the scams such as kid renting....signing children up under different names for more bennies is a HUGE problem.
In the meantime nothing is being done. No security wall, no deportation, no penalties towards mexico...absolute nothing.
Then there is another story...Americans and legal immigrants with Latin names. These folks get a lot of crap from the illegals...and are getting dragged down by the actions of the illegals.
Secure the border....deport ALL illegals...start penalizing mexico.
North Carolina’s flood of illegals is the direct result of a lax policy of allowing driver licenses and tags to illegals. Neighboring states like mine here in GA have had to deal with illegals driving with NC permits as a result. I understand that NC finally got serious about stopping the practice and Tenn moved in to fill the vacuum. A GA Deputy Sheriff died in an accident with an illegal driving with a Tenn license on New Year’s Eve, 2006.
While neighbor states work hard to make themselves less attractive to illegals, NC and Tenn have made the job much more difficult.
“The girls fathers attacked Ramon Zamora Solano, leaving him bruised.”
Exactly the roll of a father. Protect his family.
This guy is lucky to be alive.
If this were my kids, you'd be wasting good ammo on a carcass. Blackbird.
We go by the rule of law? Better that than to have my state slandered again with unfounded stories of random hangings. I've got a buddy that grew up two streets down from Duhart Avenue. Since the mall across the road went into the tank that whole section has slowly started going downhill. At least it's close to the hospital though...
“They need to shoot that man dead.” Wrongo! They need to shoot his dingus off, then deport him.
Unfortunately, you’d get more time than the a##hole you stomped.
When broadcasting suspect info, radio always described them as hispanic or mexican, if they were, but when filling out the paperwork at the jail, they were to be listed as white. I could never bring myself to describe the 5 foot 6 inch, black haired, brown eyed, swarthy, of mostly indian descent spanish speaking fellow from south of the border as white.
Everyone should email this story and others like it to their congresscritters!
So, why is it Charlotte cannot lease some closed textile mills for illegal alien detention centers? Lord knows we have enough of them in NC.
What a great idea.
But there’s a problem. Detention centers need air conditioning, state-of-the-art exercise equipment, gourmet kitchens and conference rooms for detainees to meet with their aclu lawyers.
Another problem: Charlotte police can’t ask anyone if they are citizens or illegal. The Chief of Police has made that order. One police person did and got punished.
But isn’t breaking the law, breaking the law and aren’t local cops suppose to enforce federal laws too? Misdemeanor, etc.? Seems they don’t have a problem with felonious theft, etc.
Bears repeating!
In the old days, neighborhoods also lynched people because of the color of their skin.
Vigilantism is a bad genie to let out of the bottle.
He was just doing the child molesting Americans are not willing to do. /sarc Sickening.
If the government is going to reject its Constitutional responsibility to protect our boarders then it’s not simple vigilantism.
If, as our Founding Fathers tell us, the power of government is derived from the consent of the governed, then the responsibility for protecting our country and our children is not just that of the government...its our own responsibility, too.
If the government can not or will not do the job, then responsible parents need to start asking themselves what is the point of allowing government that power?
For those who have stood on their soap boxes and said that our government is broken, there is no stronger evidence to support their case than this problem of illegal immigration.
Not even liberals are trying to argue that its not the federal government’s job to defend our boarders and to protect our citizens from the crimes that come with illegal immigration. This is the federal government’s responsibility, and the federal government is figuratively standing in the door and giving US citizens the ‘finger.’
They have decided that political power and personal profit is a higher priority then their Constitutional duties.
Inasmuch, the Constitutional “contract” that citizens willingly obligate themselves to has been broken by our government. It thereby falls to citizens to consider and decide if the federal government should retain the power they consistently abuse.
Perhaps its time for a change.
