This is the best footage I have ever seen of the World Trade Center attacks.
Awesome but very, very troubling. I watch this DVD every Sept 11th as a way of not forgetting.
The short video clip of the first plane hitting the first tower:

Dave,
You are doing a great job on yor film.
Would like a ping when you are through.
Thanks.
I’m seeing it right now, and it’s 10:30 pm mountain time.
WHy is the “LooseCHange” douchebag even being given air time?????? These nutters are making me ill......
I for one, shall NEVER forget, NEVER forget. Ragheads are anathema to me.
Because the world is a place of unstable fantasy for those who will not embrace the truth and live by it.
If we will not honor the innocent who have died, who will?
Okay, I have Dish. Prolly different schedule down here. Southern New Mexico. Have tape in, ready to roll.
A sobering ping for the GGG list.
It’s basically a view from the 30th or so floor of another building, from someone’s livingroom. They’re maybe 10 blocks away or so. The hardest part for me was hearing the anguished cry of the woman who was doing the recording as the towers fell. It really tore at my heartstrings. A woman shouldn’t have to cry like that at something done by man. :(
Very sad! Angering! Shaking head... I can’t say that you must watch this, but you probably know that you will need to watch it regardless of what I say.
My sincere sympathy to you and your family for your loss. The grief in this poor woman’s voice (in the video) is testament to what this must have been like for those nearby.
God Bless!
let us know when it’s done!
Thanks for posting this!

Sun Microsystems also had its metro New York offices on the 25th and 26th floors of the south tower (the second one hit). Everyone started evacuating the office after the north tower was hit.
Thanks I needed that... Couldn’t watch the whole thing...
The beginning was so surreal. The window is closed and all that can be heard is the nursery rhyme and the heartbeat, along with some of the lady’s comments, not really knowing yet the magnitude of what’s happening.
Thank you.
Hope they all made it out of there...
I put on the soundtrack to “Schindler’s List” while I watched it, and it brought me to tears.
Tears of sorrow. To hear the young woman sobbing as the first tower collapsed was just heartrending to hear.
Tears of anger. Every son of a bitch who ever had a single thought of support for this heinous act should be hunted down.
It made me think of this song (especially the stanza after the first chorus):
“Have You Forgotten?”
I hear people saying we don’t need this war
I say there’s some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this piece of ground?
We didn’t get to keep ‘em by backing down
They say we don’t realize the mess we’re getting in
Before you start preaching
Let me ask you this my friend
CHORUS 1
Have you forgotten how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn’t worry ‘bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
They took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it’s too disturbing for you and me
It’ll just breed anger that’s what the experts say
If it was up to me I’d show it every day
Some say this country’s just out looking for a fight
After 9/11 man I’d have to say that’s right
CHORUS 1
Have you forgotten how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn’t worry ‘bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
I’ve been there with the soldiers
Who’ve gone away to war
And you can bet they remember
Just what they’re fighting for
CHORUS 2
Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don’t you tell me not to worry about Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
